Will you two please just break it up? This thread isn't supposed to be an argument about Steam's terms of service.
why do people like you stick there noise in on my fun
Derailing threads for the sake of pursuing an off-topic argument even though you'll never convince the other person of your point of view... If that's the only way you know of to amuse yourself, get help.

Okay, I'll admit to having pushed this thread pretty hard myself as well, but you jumped in on the argument, which wasn't even your concern in the first place. But seriously, are you at all interested in the game? Because if not, why are you even here?

As if there wasn't enough evidence that the educational system in this country was screwed up... It amazes me how people get out of high school without knowing this stuff.
just so you know I'm 25 and Canadian
Okay, then it's evidence of screwed up education in two countries, then (I'm assuming that you're still out of High School by 25 in Canada).
how much do you know about Canada anyway
as a resident of Western New York (im only 3 miles from the border with canada by Niagara Falls), i like to think myself an expert in this field.

canada makes great beer, says "aboot" instead of about, and ends all of their sentences with "eh", and are so friendly that even your organized crime are nice.

.....also you guys trash stores like nobody's business. Ive seen tornadoes in the south that do less damage to stores than a bus full of canadians.

Bringing this thread right back to its original intentions....

I've never actually played Borderlands, but I've been in serious need for multiplayer games for when people come over. I'm a big RPG fan, so I guess Borderlands ticks all the right boxes for me there. I'll wait a little before rushing in to get it, but at least it looks like the experience won't be boring.

No, I can promise you that there's a very very large chance it won't be boring. The original had some of the most hilariously fun DLC I've played so far (I've done robolution and zombies) though Moxxi's seems to just be survival arena, haven't done much of it yet.

Oh, and Helob, can't forget Helob. For he was epic, though not quite as epic as his mistress.

If you would like to discuss the pros and cons of Steam (or any other DRM setup for that matter), please do so in a thread dedicated to that; I'll even copy and paste all the relevant posts into a new thread if you'd like me to. But if you gents and ladies can't keep things civil you're not doing either of your arguments any favors anyway.

I know the feeling; couch co-op is the main reason I still use my console at all, and borderlands is definitely a game that shines brightest with a friend to play it with.

You can be in highschool and know a lot more about how things work than he does, trust me. He's an exception.

Don't know why, but I'm not excited for it at all. Some of it might be because I hate the look of all the new characters. The story for the original, may be almost non-existant but for some reason I find a certain charm in the simplicity of "loot, loot, LOOOOTT!!!!"

I dunno brosephs, Borderlands 2.. Not interested, despite I loved the 1st.
