I think it's quite an ugly cover, and to me, Borderlands just looks like an attempt to ripoff the fallout universe. I'll reserve my judgement til the reviews come out and see what people say about it, but I'm still more interested in Dark Void, over Borderlands.
It's inspired by the Mad Max universe, which the original Fallout was also inspired by, so of course there'll be similarities. Or have we reached the point where any game set in a post apocalyptic world will be instantly deemed a Fallout ripoff?

As for me, I love the cover. It's very comic bookish and I fucking love comics.

What I meant was... that everything i've seen about Borderlands it looks like almost a direct ripoff of fallout.

That's fair enough I guess, but I don't see it myself. I think the fact it's set on a different planet, the cel shaded graphics and the vehicular combat are enough to differentiate it.

its multiplayer focused? also the world isnt after a nuclear holocaust, the games stated as this borderlands area has more 'fallen' into depravity and disrepair, the stuff it is similar to in regards to fallout would be the fps/rpg genre which is also very different to how fallout approached it. get you facts straight instead of just making baseless accusations, on the topic: pikachu was actually ripped off me and a picture of a yellow mouse i drew when i was seven!

The song will haunt you until you buy this cell-shaded pile of awsome! I hope you don't have to play as one of them though.

Whoa. That's awesome.
Also, 600 million different guns seems like it will be fun. But apparently, you can only get around 2000 max each play through.

Not the best box art ever, but it's at least an attempt at something a little different then the norm. I am more interested in this title now that Dragon Age has been pushed back, otherwise it would have been back shelved by me for quite some time.

I had heard the name before but knew nothing about it. I just checked out the website and I have to say thank you for bringing this to my attention. It looks like great fun. I like the art style, kind of a 3D cell shading thing going on. And according to the video, it has 87 bazillion guns!
