a similar thing happened with black-gel headphones. they got replaced with a cheaper hot pink variety for some reason.

so, like a real man, i bought them and put them in my MP3 player and saved a couple bucks.
I admire you, sir.

On to what I thought this thread would be about... I really think that clothiers should make up their minds about whether or not they are trying to show off a woman's breasts. I mean, some things these days are just barely hiding the nipples, and I ask myself, "how is this appropriate for anywhere apart from someone's bedroom or similar?" I'm not saying I don't like breasts, but it seems strange to me that as long as the nipples aren't visible, it's not considered taboo or what-have-ye. I may be wrong, there may be some unspoken "40% of the breast or less" rule that's hardly ever broken, but if so, I don't know about it.
i found this rule to be odd as well. like the butt rule, where you can show 50% of a butt but not the other part

i just hope we keep at these rules, knawing them down till its eventaly allright to show 100%. although then it wouldent be special.

That vid is retarded, "have trouble sleeping? Try pretty in pink", (don't try any other kind of earplugs because they don't work and they're not pink), "They really help to reduce the noise level", holy shit are you serious?! They reduce noise level?! You mean your ear plugs actually reduce noise level just like every single ear plug in existence?! Your brand is so unique.

Actually the shape of the blades in women's and men's razors is different.

Men's are straight, whereas women's are curved.

? No they don't. If a woman borrows your male razor (even like once) then it'll be blunt when you get it back.
This is more than true... my mom constantly uses my razor and I end up having to change the blade afterwards...

But seriously... Pink earplugs?

you think thats bad?
there are gamer razors, apparently we are biologically, some sort of (evolved) subspecies of the human race and an average razor can't fit our shaving needs

......"The Fuck?"

I can't even think of a single reason why thats even remotely necessary. Does our hair grow different because we spend too much time in front of a screen or something? Seriously...

Alright, somthing a bit less stupid: dog-tags. It's a little thing, but it still irks me. I consider anyone who wears them to be repping the military in a small way, but when you wear them just to look cool, I just personally think it's demeaning to those actually from a military background. I shake my head in shame when I see somebody like Lindsay Lohan walking down the street with some on, among other reasons.
I have a buddy who is a former riflemen in the Australian army and another who is still a riflemen and undergoing light infantry training. Both of these guys would never wear their tags off base, some stupid people make baby-killing comments when they find out their real and some (even stupider) people try to pick fights with them.

Also if you ever get caught doing something minor that's less then legal (public urination etc), you don't want army identification, the difference between a warning and some time in the stockade.

Edit: You saw Lindsay Lohan walking down the street OMIGOD!!!

Sigh, to all the people complainging about "fashion" rubbish.

If you don't like it then dont buy and and stop complaining in public because quite frankly...WE DONT WANNA HEAR ABOUT IT ><.

Their pink, so what? Who cares? It's a global stereotype that pink is for girls usually.

And worst of all...you bought them and STILL went on a RANT about them....dear gods (yes plural) -.-.

IF you buy it...you have no right to complain about it!

And tbh, the military doesn't have a patent on dog tags, all theya re used for is to help identify your bullet ridden corpse. It'd be quite fitting to hand them out to every person in the US to match their mass gun addiction.

It probably takes into account that over weight gamers shave a larger suface area and have sensitive skin from lack of sunlight.

Now if only that idea woked with action man dolls.

Anyway, there's tonnes of stuff that's aimed at women that's exactly the same as the stuff aimed at men but is just pink (Including headphones, iPods etc.). I think it's just because pink is stereotypically a female colour, but men have started to wear pink as well (Something to do with that tough enough to wear pink perspective men have been getting recently).

This is a dumb statement because my boyfriend's razors cost $12, mine cost $5 and they're orange not pink. There is a difference between the two kinds of razors though.

Screw Waxing, that hurts and it's more expensive then shaving. The home kits don't work worth a damn.

I chuckled at this..

I agree it is stupid because people will buy overpriced stuff because its aimed at them. Sad thing is they can't see its a genderless product what you won't wear out on the town.

Am I the only one that thought this was completely incoherent?

Let's see.

Nils said:
Hello.

So the other day, I was looking for the type of earplugs I normally buy in my local Target. They're beige and usually come in a blue box. In their place I was surprised to find these [http://sleepinpink.com/].

I do a natural WTF-take and triple check the aisle in case I had missed the regular brand I buy. Nope. Ladies earplugs. If you want comfort in noise pollution-cutting technology, this is your only option. Pink fucking earplugs.

Am I missing something, or is this not completely retarded? Seriously. Of all things, why are you marketing EARPLUGS to women? And it's not like they have flowers or hearts or hannah montana all over them, they're just pink. It's not even like I'm offended because I'm a woman. I'm offended by the sheer stupidity of it. Is their revenue gonna skyrocket now that they switched from beige to pink? Were girls hurting for pink earplugs before now?
So OP is complaining she feels inaccurately represented by marketing that seems to believe they can sell that specific product by appealing to a stereotypical generalization. "Women love pink".

Surely by how revolted and aggravated the OP sounds, she would never stoop to their level by purchasing said ludicrous item and thus confirming the marketing strategy as valid, even if they are the only ones available...

Nils said:
And yes, I bought them.

Ohh... So it's ok for you to stereotype and generalize people? Delicious hypocrisy. Marketing something pink because it's for women it's wrong, but if someone uses a metal plaque as a necklace they're clearly soldier-wannabees... It's entirely impossible they just like the way it looks right?

I used to be annoyed by the fact that tissues always have flowers and things on them; what men don't need to blow their noses?

I also wonder why everything that is marketed to men is dark blue and grey?
