Boring games

"Achievement whoring" the game, I've on a couple of occasions become a bit obsessed with achievements and spent hours playing games I no longer had any interest in just to rack up a few points.

or because I want to finish it out of some wierd stubborn completionistic streak...

MS should have a support group. FEAR 2's 5 Star General ach damn near broke me.

I found Far Cry 2 extremely boring. No matter how hard I tried to like it I just couldn't.

I'm ashamed to say this - I really am, since Total Annihilation was tits awesome - but Supreme Commander was pretty boring. It dragged for me...almost had me wishing for the computer to zerg me.

I found CoD4 to be insufferably dull havent tried waw but dont see the point same formula different package just felt too slow and clumsy.

I agree. The lack of an ability to die took all the challenge out of the game. And an FPS with no challenge is boring as hell.
