I know that a lot of people will be like "WHAT?!?!" to my list, but whatever.

Inglorious Basterds
Cloverfield
Last Exorcism
Meet the Spartans
Donnie Darko
Stranger than Fiction
Observe and Report
really none of those are "what!?!?!" films
i men even the two there i would consider good (ok ones great the other so so) are aquired tases
thos being donnie darko and inglorious basterds
their quite slow and require more than just turning off your brain and watching (which is what most films are for) and i can easily see why somebody wouldnt like that, i love thoughtful movies (and tv).
Well, the few times I've mentioned how I hated Inglorious Basterds (This one especially) and Cloverfield, people kinda flip out asking why/how I could.

Donnie Darko
Normally I'd be inclined to say something like 'I can't believe I forgot [insert name]'
But with Donnie Darko, yeah I can. That film sucks ass.

When he flips out at the teacher, sayin the world isn't just black and white, good and bad, decisions. I liked that scene

But aside from that, yeah...that movie sucks...
Fixed for you, only because others might say something (if they haven't already.) Yes it was ungodly boring. I waited for something to happen the entire time...and nothing.

Adaptation. Everyone in my scriptwriting class loves it, but I honestly can't stand it. I hate Nicholas Cage and any movie he's in becomes unbearable to me.

Also Despicable Me and Eragon. Both were movies I just rolled my eyes during and counted down the minutes until the credits.

When I was younger I watched 2001 and found it incredibly boring and fell asleep many times. Then I watched it again years later. Incredible film.

I found Troy to be an awful movie for me and I am not sure why, the actors all did well in it, the fights were cool and the music was suitable epic and it was about stuff I am actually interested in (Greek Mythology) yet I found myself wanting to end my life after sitting through that bore-fest.
I have no idea how a 3 and-a-bit hour long action scene managed to be boring, but Troy pulls it off magnificently.
It's about an interesting time period. The acting isn't awful. There's enough blood and violence to keep my inner sadist interested. I was watching it on a bus, where any distraction is a welcome one. So how the fuck was it a boring film? It makes no sense!
SO VERY, VERY BORED!

Avatar. not only dull but probably the most overhyped dull film ever made. I wanted to cut my eyes out an hour into it.

Napoleon. Motherfucking. Dynamite. "Ha. ha. My sides."
And Black Hawk down.
And most bond movies. Crucify me all you want for that, but they bore me som so much. "bla bla bla talking, bla bla bla uninteresting drama, bla bla unexciting fight scene, bla bla bla cliche bla bla bla marty stu main character."
And Jaws.
And the dark knight
And Jurassic park. SNORE
And Saw 3-6 - or - "hey, let's milk the snuff-porn market until it titties dry up."
And Scarface. "bla bla bla gangsters bla bla bla colubia, bla bla bla uninteresting shooting, bla bla bla al pacino is a dick."
And Kill Bill Volume 2.
And Kingdom of heaven. All I remember of that snore-fest was a really really really impractical fighting pose that leaes your entire body wide open and provides little to no counter-opportunity.
And Troy
And King Arthur
And the anaconda sequels.

I think it shows that I'm not a film-person, or what? That isn't to say I don't like films, I'm just not very fond of them in general.
is there any films you do like there
because you got rid of cheesball films
you got rid of smart actions movies
you got rid of whatever saw is calling itself nowadays
I liked Inception
And Crank 1&2
And some of the Friday the 13th movies.
And Rush hour 1-3
And I suppose I MUST like Alien
And cannonball run.
And the american pie movies.
And 300
And the man with the naked gun movies
- actually, let me just say that I thought the Police academy movies was snoreworthy tripe on a bike-
And Die hard 4 (the only die hard I've seen)
And, cheeseball and formulaic as they were, I liked the hellboy movies
And dawn of the dead.
And Kill bill volume 1
And Little Nicky
And the Norwegian Horror films Cold prey(or as they're known here, wild game) 1 and 2, and our all-norwegian nazi-zombie movie Dead Snow, which starts out as a typical horror movie in the Evil dead mold, then goes all comedy-slasher on us, yet with a sense of overhanging dread.
And Rob Zombies Halloween.
And ginger Snaps
And house of wax, since it had Paris Hilton getting impaled
And scary movie 1-2

So yes, there are movies I like

The Soloist with Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr...it was the only movie we could see and I hate remembering that i shelled over 9 bucks to see it.
It remains to this day the only movie I legitamitely slept through in a movie theater..
It brings tears to my eyes remembering that waste of money

Definitely I'm not There.

There are three movies that I state as my most hated, this is one of them. But at least the other two (Juno and Ariona Dream) are somewhat tolerable. This is just a horribly made stock arthouse film with its head so far its up its own ass to realize the mistakes they make. The plot goes nowhere, the characters are extremely hateable, it's an insulting tribute to Bob Dylan and it really is incredibly pretentious.

2001 A Space Odyssey...

I've tried watching it 4 times, and every freakin' time I wake up to psychedelic scenes and a fetus floating in space...wondering what happened to the last two hours, and where my drink went.

I want to appreciate it, but it just hits the snooze-note at some point around 30mins into the movie.
I actually sat through the entire thing, but I agree. The movie is brilliant, the director is brilliant, the entire set-up of the movie is brilliant, but it's boring.
