Bosses you felt bad about killing

Which bosses did you not like killing, for reasons such as they were too awesome to deserve death or you believed they would return later on but they decided to stay dead?

For example, my regret is killing Mendez on Resident Evil 4. He was such a sinister character, and should have been a bit more fleshed out. He was my favourite character in that game, and when I got into a fight with him I thought I would bump into him again...until he fell dead and his eye fell out.

Who are your favourite enemies and why did you regret being the reason for their demise?

Maiden Astraea/Garl Vindland, easily.

That fight really made you look like the bad guy.

I don't recall feeling bad about killing someone because they were cool, though.

That's a hard one. I guess when you have to kill Lambert in Splinter Cell: Double Agent. But he's not really a boss. So, Jack Knife from Mirror's Edge, he seemed cool.

Cliff from Dead Rising. He saw his granddaughter get eaten by zombies and snaps. He was the only psychopath I felt bad killing.

Mysterio - Spiderman 2. That guy was so damn fucking awesome. That boss battle still goes down as the single greatest boss battle ever conceived.

Haha, after that boss battle, I sat there for five minutes thinking "the fuck was that?".

OT: none really, except Mysterio.

That's why I used the tranquilizer gun for the Beauties and the real gun for the Beasts.
