Trailer for sequel to best movie ever has been released.
Since I guarantee that nobody at this site will officially cover this story, I guess it's up to me to do it.
<url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.375364>The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption was objectively, literally, and factually the best movie ever to be released. It's not even debatable at this point. And for a while there, it seemed like it would stand alone as its own entity. Sure, there was the original <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.375114-2-50-Reviews-The-Scorpion-King-2002>Scorpion King, with a second film inexplicably missing from the planet, but it more or less worked on its own and didn't really relate itself with anything else in the "franchise."
Back in January of 2013, thanks to inquisitive reporting from yours truly, we were given confirmation that, maybe, <url=https://twitter.com/webstervictor/status/286906452076023808>a fourth Scorpion King would be in the works. Now, in October 2014, the first teaser trailer for The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power has been released. In it, we learn that Mathayus (Victor Webster) is the only returning character from the last installment, and he will be placed in another adventure. Joining the cast are the likes of Michael Biehn, Lou Ferrigno, Rutger Hauer, Will Kemp, and WWE alumni Eve Torres.
Billy Zane, Ron Perlman, Krystal Vee, Dave Bautista, Bostin Christopher, and Temuera Morrison are not confirmed or rumored to reprise their roles.
The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD on January 20, 2015.
