Brick, Lillith, Mordecai or Roland?

Most people will choose Mord as everyone likes to see themselves as the stereotypically intelligent support character whose combat style is more complex than the usual grunts. Imma go with Brick because I like beating shit to death.

Roland. Assault rifles are unquestionably handy. And his turret's great for when the mega poo hits the fan. Drop and run, job done.

Although he does have probably the least interesting back-story that we were never actually told about which I found out about on the Borderlands Wiki but now can't find again.
... Mordecai's a detective!

Have to be Mordecai. There is nothing more awesome then a character who chuckles in the same sinister tone, at the same time as you, just after you pop an enemies head from a great distance.

I tried as hard as i could to like everyone but unless you are a multiplayer person, brick, plain and simple...

I just use Mordecai and spec him out for the Bloodwing and Pistols... The sniper rifles tend to be pretty crap imo, but if you spec him out correctly, Pistol damage with revolvers is insane especially when combined with a high-leveled Bloodwing. Also with the right skills, your Bloodwing causes a huge amount of cash and item-loot to drop.

Brick is damn cool as well though.

I always play Lilith, out of fierce loyalty to my gender.

That said, I probably would have picked her anyway, because I believe she starts out with an SMG, and given my complete incompetence at all shooting games, I tend to go for the "run in screaming with an automatic weapon and spray bullets at everything that moves" option, for which SMGs tend to cater for.

I love it when she yells "HA! I'm getting good at this!" because that's usually just what I've said XD

Mordecai is amazing, just don't put any points into his stupid bird and you are golden.

Have you ever used the bird properly? It's hilariously overpowered. You can get it to hit 6 times, doing thousands of damage a hit and giving you all your health back upon returning. And then less than 10 seconds later he's out ripping things up again. Also, he can daze enemies, which is the most powerful thing in the game.

I specced into pistols and bird and just rolled over everything. To be honest I didn't eve need a gun, the bird killed everything.

I take Roland any day. I've got around 9 custom characters for him and he makes the best support in my opinion.

Rocket launchers just plain suck and melee punching is a good way to get shot.

Lilith is my favorite because of the damage she deals my Double Anarchy & Hellfire SMGs with a Merc mod; combined with the healing abilities of upgraded Phasewalk and Mind Games, I'm unstoppable.

I'm playing it right now, and I love Roland. 60% larger magazines in all weapons, impressive shield, health and ammo regeneration, and a turret that shoots rockets make him very fun IMHO.

Roland since he is a good support character which I need since no one ever joins my parties T^T
