I still cant believe that everyone would bring just a sixpack to a BYOB party. And what is he supposed to drink after the first hour?
I personly dont like vodka and other hard stuff. Except a good whiskey now or then or perhaps some captain morgan with vanilla coke. SO i would bring exactly as much beer as i can afford or transport at given time. If there is really nothing but the stuff you bring i wont go with less than 5 litres. Even if thats too much for you its enough to share a bit. I usually took my backpack filled with about 12 bottles 0.5 litres each. That most of the times worked out.

Personally I always go with 2 x 2 litre bottle of energy drink + 1 large bottle of vodka.

Any brand, you wont taste it too much. Start the night drinking about a quater/half of each bottle of energy drink, then throw the vodka in. Mix it up a bit and you have the ultimate party drink. Carry round a bottle of it, and offer a few people a swig. Makes friends, and you have enough for 3 people easily. All for aout £15. Bargin.

Not really, its just beer and usually a long night. Between 8p.m. and 6 a.m. you need some liquid if you dont want to dehydrate ;)

I don't like lending out beers to people, I mean it's a whole can you're giving away and I only ever bring enough for myself. With a spirit like vodka or whiskey you only have to give them a shot to tide them over which is nothing so you still get to keep loads for yourself whilest not looking like a tight bastard for not sharing drinks. I'm in luck though at parties, with my taste in beers no one ever wants any of mine. It's all bitters and ales, all my friends drink is cheap lagers and cider.

Whats kind of drink is that? is it expensive?
It's a german liquer made from herbs. Usefull in winter since it makes you warm inside. Nothing beats a nice shot of Jägermeister after a long skitrip. I've seen 1L bottles for 10 - 20 Euroes depending where you live. Try it:)

Everclear with some kind of Hawaiian Punch mix in it. They'll get plastered quick and enjoy it.

Anything you want would do, though in my experience, not enough people provide drinks outside the "lager" family to these things. It may be more costly, but a few bottles of Jack Daniels and some Pepsi would be recieved with much grattitude, and maybe some Malibu for those there who don't like wiskey.

Seems to me like most underage drinkers care less about taste and more about what will get them more shitfaced more quickly. Bring the cheapest stuff you have.

...I haven't been to any drunken parties, so I don't know for sure.
Fixed it.

if you want a tasty drink you can mix easily, I have two good suggestions:

1. a self made drink of mine, we call it Smirnoff Ice-tea; mix Smirnoff north (20% alchohol) about 50/50 with your favorite brand of peach ice-tea.

2. I found this in a recipe book, its called Red Tonic: thats 2 parts vodka, 2 parts grenadine and 5 parts lemon soda /tonic.

I myself always mixes drinks when im at a party, i can't stand beer.

If there are a lot of other people bringing drinks to mix UV vodka of the different colors is always good.

I'm going to a smaller Halloween party and I'm bringing a 12 pack of Heiniken and maybe some kokanee or Molson I find around the house (eh). Just go for beer, It's not that big of a deal, you won't pass out, it's fairly cheap, and no one will call you a vagina for bringing coolers.

If you want to get shitfaced and have sex, Bacardi Breezer; guaranteed to make girls knickers disappear. -_-
Noted lol. Does that come in small or big bottles? I was under the impression you just mixed it with vodka or something? I really have no clue XD
It's an aforementioned "vagina beverage". Comes in beer sized bottles and is like 6%

Bring the Smirnoff & get some cheap disposable shot glasses. Oh & learn a couple of simple Bar tricks, nothing too hard or the drunks will lose interest. My personl favorites are paper roses for the ladies & any trick that envolves fire.

Bring whatever beer you want for yourself, don't be a dick about holding on to it but be aware that it will be gone in 2 seconds if it's totally up for grabs.

Jagermeister is EEEEEEVIIIIIIIIIIL!!!

OT: Personally? Jim Beam Black. Second? Adnams Broadside or Becks.

It just sounded like a lot, but i suppose a six pack is probably about 2 litres anyway... Sound advice anyway lol

Would I look like a twat if i were to drink it myself though? What im leaning towards at the moment is a 12 bottle pack of heineken, seems a pretty safe all rounder I think

Yes, you totally would. That's what I meant. If you're brave, you could try and pull it off but be prepared to be insulted and called a girl. Stick with beer. You can always trade it for spirits once you're there.

Ive been invited to a halloween party on friday and im not sure what kind of drink to bring. The invite says to 'bring your own booze.' Im 18, but id say a quite a few people there will be underage. Should I buy cans of beer and share? Would that be a quick way of getting to know people? Im not a massive party person as you can probably tell lol. I have an unopened naggin of smirnoff someplace though. What would be appropriate?

Jagermeister is sort of a herb liqeur that's popular all over the place, you can drink it ice cold on it's own or mix it with red bull/whatever energy drink.

It's about £16 for a bottle in Tesco if you live in the UK which is fairly expensive per 100ml for spirits but totally worth it, I have a bottle in the freezer right now.

Everyone likes it because it is cool.
