I'ma say the lieutenant that was Captain Badass Price's mentor in that sniper mission from COD4.
MAJOR LOVE FOR THAT GUY.
I've forgotten his name. Mcsomething. He was amazing, that level was the best thing that has happened to Call Of Duty.
Since there are S.A.S characters in Modern Warfare, I think they are British? And not stupid?
...No one in this thread remembered his name was MacMillan. And he is my answer, but I can't think of many others.

Yes you can. It would be similar to, say, Texas, deciding it didn't want to be a part of the USA any longer.
You can't. Britain isn't the political system, that's the UK, Britain is just the name of the island.

Point 5 is a little stupid... I mean; it means that Captain Price is ruled out of this purely because he hangs around with other SAS guys...
I agree.

Price is a perect oldschool example of a British tough man.

I loved the cargo ship intro in CoD 4. Just chilling with a cigar in the rain.
Price is playable for that one mission with MacMillan. If he wasn't I'm sure he would be counted. It's not like everyone in MW was British, there were Americans too.

Desmond Lockheart from point lookout dlc fallout 3.I am not sure if this counts as a few rules get bent slighty.

1.He is not techinally dead as he is a ghoul but he can be killed by the lone wander depending on the players choices
2.He is an asshole but i dont think he is "evil"
3.He is a main NPC in the point lookout dlc
4.He is rather clever
5.He spent most of the time in the Calvert Mansion with his dogs

there aren't many, most good ones are killed(ghost/gaz(they are the same man IRL, hence a single chararacter(look up the conspiracy theories as well)), the evil ocharacters are either russian or british in american games(unless it's a plot twist like CoD 6's, but the origional one was and is still russian)

would say someone from Fable but points 4/5 cover that(idiotic are all of them)

Mactavish/Soap except for 3

sooooo.... the either a british TF141/SAS soldier who was lucky enough to make it through the CoD4/6 mission in question without dieing

but the only main character is Captian Mcmillan(the scottish guy from CoD4)

but if it weren't for rule 3 and 1 then i'd say roach.

With all the restrictions it makes it kind of hard, so I'll just add M., Moneypenny, and Q. from GoldenEye. However, that could violate rule 5, since they're with MI6.

CPT Price is one, you play as LEIUTENANT(said leftenant because it was a British rank) Price in 2 missions in CoD4, there is no proof linking them, as Cpt Price in CoD4 could have thought of LT Price as an alternate person, or the one from the 1st few CoD's, set in WW2

Would Chloe from Uncharted 2 count?
I believe she's Australian. Claudia Black, the women who does her voice is Australian. She's done plenty of British accent roles, but Chloe is definately an Aussie.

Just going by the games that I have nearby, the only guy that I've found that could fit would be Captain Anderson from Mass Effect. But since he doesn't sound British, I'm not sure if he counts...
He's not British, it's the same voice actor who did The Arbiter in Halo 2/3, and Sgt Foley in Modern Warfare 2.

OT. Captain Ash, and whoever it is that Danny Wallace voices in AC2/Brotherhood.

Edit: Oh, and Gaz from CoD4
wait, Arby was Foley? i liked Arby though... and i only hated Foley for telling me to ADS so much in the 1st mission...

and Gaz/Ghost are both dead

From Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. He also has a overly melodramatic scene at the end of MGS4.
I think it's void 'cause he died in the same overly melodramatic scene.

That's Keith Motherfuckin' David, the man who survived a fight with Nada (kick bubblegum and chew ass what have you,) and I know, his voice actor sounds a lot blacker than his character actually looks.

If you read the Codex entry on him, it states that Cpt Anderson is from London (and then fails to mention why his accent doesn't match...).
many americans call New london 'London'(but with an 'i' sound instead of an 'o' sound), and since the earth seems to be controlled by america(although they constantly have russia taking over the world - especially in CoD), then 'London' could nean New London, or London could be american-controlled and as such made american
