I know this has been discussed before but my post does more than just ask opinions on the BNP

Ok, Walking home from school today I saw a house that had a couple of flyers in the window, A few said things like "Vote NO to the European Union" I didn't really care until I saw the flyer above it, The flyer said "VOTE BNP"

For those of you unfamiliar with them check this out
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_National_Party

My mate who walks home with me was sickened also, he said he wanted to write a note or something and post it through the door, sounded good at first but it's against something I stand for to mock someone elses opinion(s). Then I thought of the other things I stand for, like equality and tolerance.

So the purpose of this post is to ask:

A) What do you think of the B.N.P

B) If you, like me, are tolerant and belive in equal rights but also in respecting opinions what would you do if you knew someone who voted BNP or some other facist political party?

Sorry for rambling but I would like to know your opinions.

A) Racist ignorant fools who are disgruntled with their lot in life.

B) I'd set their house on fire.

I'm not British but I would lose a lot of respect for anyone who voted for the BNP. They're overtly racist.

Let people beleive what they want - its not like the BNP are ever going to get into power - people are to well informed for that. I say tolerate their opinions, even if you disagree with them.

A) I hate them and think they should be banned
B) I would argue with them about the lack of sense the BNP make on their key policies, and how the supporter is selfish, and has no regard for other people. If they accept those facts I would probably then get very angry and either storm off, make derogatory comments, and if worst came to worst, hit them.

A) Dicks

B) I'm an Anglo-Chinese person. I don't like exclusion because of your race. Its been done to me before. I just layed the smackdown on their arses and no more bother. That's what we should do with the BNP.

Pretty much this. Althought I'd make sure they're inside their house when I do it.

I saw a website on I think it was facebook with quotes from hitler and members of the BNP and it was saying how similar it was. In a country that's so politically correct how did this even happen? I really think like Wrong Spite said they're 'Racist ignorant fools'.

I also get the impression that some people may be mislead about the BNP and might be drawn to vote for them because of their keep jobs british scheme and not realise exactly what they're writing for. Its alright saying voters really need to understand what they're voting for but some people are ignorant and when they hear something they want they don't exactly care what else they're voting for as long as they end up with what they want despite consequences on others.

They are so overtly racist it's unreal. Eddie Izzard spoke out against them the the other day and said that it's a shame if 60 years after we beat Fascism in WWII that we vote them into power and quite frankly I think he's right.

The BNP won't get into power people are too well informed but that being said we should still keep an eye on them and remind people every now and then who they really are.

if your for free speach then you shouldn't have any compunction about saying whatever the hell you want to them, tell those fuckers exactly what you think of them.
if we shy away from challenging them we are in real danger of them gaining some real influence

A) They're a loose association of racists who disguise themselves behind a tissue-thin layer of organisation and politics.

B)Let me tell you what I believe, as horrible as it may sound to many people here; I believe that, in circumstances such as this, certain people should have their opinions completely disregarded and, if possible, destroyed. HANG ON, I have justification to this; the BNP aren't truly concerned with cutting down on immigrants...they just want to get rid of black people. In situations such as this, where completely innocent people would be shunned because of their skin colour, well, the ones responsible don't deserve an opinion. And that is my opinion.

I find it hard to be angry towards them when they're doing such a great job of making themselves look like the massive cretins that they are. Mocking them at this point would feel like mocking a dog with only one leg and no tail.

If you don't know what I'm talking about... hit up YouTube (or possibly BBC iPlayer) for their recent party political broadcast. It's comical.

This seems like a pretty good idea, but just to make sure, I'd blow up the house.

Ooooh, Norsefire. Good comparison :)

Personally I hate the BNP. I hate the EU as well, but I would never vote for the BNP. They're racist ignorant twats who should never have been allowed to rise in the first place. What did we fight two world wars for, after all? There's actually a campaign ongoing at my university, within the student union, where people are trying to persuade voters not to vote for the BNP. Earlier in the year there was a protest in Leeds city centre outside HMV, I think it was either the BNP or a similar party with a similar agenda, protesting that rap music should be banned because it's mostly done by black people. To counter this, on the same day plenty of local people, and mostly students, turned up and had a similar protest at the same time on a neighbouring street. Guess who the police decided to ask to move away, and guess who the police decided to use aggressive tactics on when the protestors refused? Three guesses, first two don't count. It's just sick that these people should be allowed to form their own political party, in this day and age. I'm all for free speech and free opinions, but sometimes there just has to be a limit. Fascism is wrong. Any fool knows that.

Quoted for truth - the BNP are too funny to be allowed to be banned, and too discriminatory about who they'll accept as members to ever get a decent vote share.

If it ever looks like they're EVER gaining credibility, I'll be one of the first to sign up for la resistance. I even have a V mask :D
