Oh... Oh my.

You just made me realise how frequently I say those things...

I think... I originally intended to use them sarcastically, but then they grew to be part of my lexicon.

That's very frightening. D:

But, on the other hand, I am always utterly serious when I engage in a bro-fist.

Dude.
Bro.
Man.
Bruh.
Blud.
Mate.
Fella.
Kidda.
Sonny.
Old chap.
Sport.
Lofty.
Stilts.
Shorty. (Though I don't use that one particularly often.)
Porky.
Tubby.
Ham-bone.

Now if only I could learn people's names.

Hi-five, broseidon.

I use all these words. Often without satirical intent :|

Edit: well damn, I'm a necromancer.

I only say dude but yeah I think there really isn't anything wrong with saying stuff like that if you are a decent intelligent human being. Unfortunately that isn't always the case :S

I say man and dude. I actually recently realized that too. Alot of things I say sarcastically I say regularly now...though I think it is generally accepted I am usually sarcastic anyways. I also say guy alot. Its sort of a replacement curse I use for general annoyances. Like if I am killed while doing something "fucking guy!" as opposed to say, douche or prick or something.

I say "man" a fair bit, but not bro or dude...Well, rarely I'll say "Dude" but I've never said "Bro".

I hate when people use "bro" ironically. It always sounds awkward to me. Been saying dude for as long as I can remember.

It's been ingrained into my brain to address people as Ma'am or Sir.
Me too! I went to a private high school, so especially in the younger grades, when you don't know the teachers' names you call them sir/ma'am/Ms, and when you get to the higher grades you just call them sir/Ms/ma'am because it is quicker than saying Mr/s What's-his-face.

OT: I type them, because they feel different in text than in voice, so they better suit the tone I'm going for when I use them. I do occasionally use words like 'sup' or 'bro' in general conversation, but mainly when I'm going for a 'chillin' tone.

Captcha: Also ialsli .... okay, first off, what came before that that it warranted an 'also', and secondly, how is 'ialsli' in any way coherent under any reasonable context.

I say "dude" and "man" but the only times I'll say "bro" are when I'm both being sarcastic and talking to my actual brother.

I use bro ironically fairly often with words like "Broseidon" and "Brosephone" but every now and then I'll use it normally without thinking. As for dude and man, I've lived in California my whole life. They're etched into my primary vocabulary forever.

Yep, I use all three informally, and I've even got a system. Man is how I address strangers and acquaintances. Dude is what I use for emphasis. Bro is for close friends.
