Out of those I only say "Dude" most often. Usually only as an exclamation like "Dude! What the hell?!"

I use 'man' a great deal in sincerity, sometimes dude if i'm startled or agitated.

I've made fun of Engrish so much that sometimes I find myself slipping into it, unintentionally. Damn Mongorians!
haha, thank fuck I'm not the only one who does that with Engrish. "Oh Herrow!" has pretty much taken the place of "Hello" in my brain. Sadly, most of the time I don't even notice.

"Man" and "dude" I am pretty bad for. At some point they just sort of snaked their way into my everyday vernacular.
"Bro" I only ever use facetiously, though.

Which means it will probably permanently imprint itself there eventually too because that's how "man" and "dude" started.

All of the above. I'm well-spoken and articulate generally, so if someone wants to judge me based on how I refer to my friends, they can go right ahead.

Bro? Never.

I do use "dude" and "man", but only in very specific circumstances and only with friends and close acquaintances... generally, I use "dude" or "man" in admonishing sentences to make them seem a little less harsh or unfriendly. Oh, and sometimes I'll use "that dude" if I'm bored with "that guy". It largely depends on how I'm feeling and I typically only use it if I'm fairly relaxed. I also tend to use "man" if I'm feeling exasperated. "We're having this conversation again? Come on, man, move on."

I only started using "dude" in the past couple years. I have no idea why.

Recently I realized that I start to say things ironically and then they legitimately join my lexicon.

While I have always said "dude" and "man" I recently realized that I say "word" and "bro" more and more often. At first it was just as a joke, but now I sincerely say these things.

So long story short, anyone else say "bro, man, or dude"?

Also are there any words you used to say for ironic purposes that you now say legitimately?

ROFL im the exact same as you in that respect, use a word ironically and then I actually start using it >.>

I've always said Man, even if the person I'm talking to is female.
Bro I'm using a lot now too in RL and the interwebz and Dude I just stick with the internet, I dislike it in reel life.

I say dood a lot, most people think I'm saying dude, but in reality, I always say dood. And no one will ever know.

I say 'dude' sometimes, never said it ironically.
Also, any woman who complains about the use of the words 'dude' or 'guys' can go shut the fuck up.

I hate it when people put their own stupid variations on it like 'brah' and 'bromad' and what have you. Only acceptable if that's the way you genuinely pronounce it, like if you're Aussie or something.

I've said "man" and "dude" since I was in elementary school. I have never said "Bro", and now that I'm surrounded by Frats on this campus, I've begun to despise it.
