What are the buggiest games you've ever played?Stuff like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion?
Or perhaps you even had trouble starting the damn thing? Thief series, anyone?
Or even both? I'm looking at you, Mirror's Edge.
Leave a reply with your personal experiences.

Oddly, Mass Effect 2. I've had a ton of bugs, and while only one was game breaking, they were all definitely noticeable.

Fallout New Vegas. Jesus, playing it on a console with no patches can be torture. Crashes, quest glitches, clipping issues, visual inconsistencies, unblemished textures, Conversation errors, Frame rate errors, the list goes on and on. We're a few fixes on and while quite a few are gone MORE HAVE APPEARED FROM THE FIXES! I couldn't do Veronica's companion quests, any of them, because the game refused to let her do anything, plus she would sometimes stand still and never move.

The game is great, but the bugs hold it back immensely. I won't even tell you how many times the game crashed on me in the Battle of Hoover Dam, because I stopped counting at 12.

Calumon: Digimon World has some things wrong with it. According to Jack, Americans don't like Giromon. :S

Red Dead Redemption. I shouldn't have to post many examples but I may put up the video of Cougar-Man for many lulz.

Glitched walking, glitched horses, bizarre human-animal hybrids, fucked up physics.

Edit: Decided to show the Cougar-Man video. Enjoy if you've never seen it.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 The Sith Lords. On X-Box at least it was horribly buggy. Picture a cinematic where Atton's voice is speaking but Kreia's mouth is moving. Yeah, that bad...And I won't even get in to how bad the graphics were lagging through the whole game. Still one of my favorite games for some reason.

oddly Legacy of Kain: Defiance - when i first played it there was only 2 bugs that caused the game to freeze (needing a restart) and then every time i played the game again, new bugs would appear (i stopped counting at 7, same time as when i gave up ever wanting to play the game again apparently lol)

I have been lucky with glitch's for the most part. I seem to alway's dodge the big ones. But one game that pissed me off was DA2 I had a nightmare even trying to run the damn thing it would just crash as soon as I started it. First the security on the disc was conflicting with my Anti-Virus (according to bioware) so I had to uninstall the game, Uninstall my anti-virus, disable all my safety feature's and firewalls. Restart my comp install the game, Restart my comp again, run the game to make sure it went, then exit reinstall my anti-virus and turn all my firewalls and safety features on, then restart again. Then it finally work and I learned the game was barely worth the effort.

The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall.
despite being huge (and admittedly fun) it almost had as many glitches as it did proper content.
seriously. unpatched, the game is literally unplayable and patched, it still had more bugs than both minecraft and oblivion put together.

however big-rigs takes the cake easely

Ninja'd. Although it is nice to see someone else who remembers Daggerfall for what it was :)

My second choice would probably be Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

Magicka

The devs had to patch it daily to get it to a semblance of functionality (for some, my single player worked fine) .. but even after some weeks it wasn't possible to play multiplayer all the way through without certain parts of the game crashing (end of chapter 6, for instance).

STALKER: Clear Sky.

Unmodded, I think even most STALKER fans will agree with me.

Of course, incontestably, the FULL award goes to Big Rigs, but I don't like ending a thread so early.

Sadly,I've ran into most of the glitches that games like the TES(The Elder Scrolls) series had to offer.Same goes for the Fallout games.Well, they're practically the same,TES and Fallout,so it's no wonder. Also,Thief is just...unplayable.
First,it doesn't wanna install because apparently it doesn't like new computers.Had to set the compatibility to Windows 98 just for the damn thing to install(not to mention it asks for a 2nd disk later in the installation process, then in the end,it asks for the 1st disk again, then to play it,you have to put the 2nd disk back in). Then,I couldn't even set the controls properly because it wouldn't let me(for example,i couldn't crouch with Ctrl). The game often freezed too and I couldn't even get past the tutorial level because it asked for me to fire an arrow from a bow,but when I selected the arrow it did nothing. This game receives unbelievable praise, but GOD DAMN,if you wanna play it properly, you gotta find a computer older than your grandma.

PS:The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games were much like the TES games too.
