We've all had them, that moment when your anger at a game boils over to the point where you damage something or someone.

I've just had another of those moments this time curtesy of Army of Two. I am currently stuck on a Back to Back section in China where men wearing thin t-shits and jeans run at me and soak up pretty much a clip before going down. Sadly my AI partner is about as useful as a choclate knife seeing as he can't hit a barn door from point blank range while the enemy seem to be accurate at 100 paces..... while fucking running! With a lot of freaking luck I actually got past this section about 30 minutes ago (After 20 minutes of dying over and over and over again) and I was fucking estactic and contnued to plodded along. I then got cheap killed (gong goes off to sound the all clear... but what's this a shotgun guy who's been hiding behind us the whole freaking time and my AI partner decides to stand over me and let me get shot to shit rather than heal me, fucking awesome.) So I load last checkpoint and where do I end up.... right back at this bulshit back to back moment.... I just freaking lost it and am now down a controller (they don't stand up well to being launched at a wall it seems.

So any games or game moments that have caused you to lose your shit?

Playing blazblue on normal with Hakumen, owning the NPCs in Arcade mode. Suddenly one of them bursts out a combo that takes half of my life away.

No, I've got enough self restraint to not burst out in fits of anger.

End of the first half of Super Ghouls and Ghosts.

You finally make it to the end of all that bullshit, through countless hours of rage endusing gameplay and then you beat the last boss and thank the deity you never believed in that it's finally over, then guess what?

The stupid fucking princess dropped her goddamn bracelet and you have to go all the way back to the beginning to get it for her.

Fuck you, princess!

I can't remember the name of the game, but it was an RPG platformer, and I had made a bad jump over an instant death trap, when my mom called for dinner. I immediately saved and went upstairs. When I loaded my game, I instantly died, reload, die, reload, die. I didn't enable auto-save. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! 34:14 hours of gameplay; GONE

It is, although, you should give it a try. Not getting worked up about things is much healthier for you than carrying stress all the time. :p

My most recent bullshit moment was in Assassins Creed 2 in about 3/4 of the game when the main mcguffin is stolen by some bloke. "Better find him and get it back" says the hero, than the story fast forwards NINE FUCKING YEARS later and apparently NO ONE has done ANYTHING to recover the device.

Now I know that there is a DLC that supposedly tells us what happened during this 9 years, but I call it massive bullshit for selling me a book with a whole chapter ripped out of it...

The Train level in Lost planet 2.

Youre sitting on a cannon shooting a big monster but the cannon turns slower than a learner driver on a motorway so when a notice pipes up one last shot the monster pops up from behind the train and you have to shoot him. I couldnt turn quick enough the first time and had to start the whole level again.

Busting hump to get through MW2's estate level on veteran only to be killed at the end of the level.

Does it really make a difference if I die 5 feet before I get killed in the cinematic????? REALLY?

Ah but due to my anger at games I am able to release my stress and tension in a (usually) healthy manner. I find it to be quite relieving and relaxing, at this moment (now that the anger is gone) I feel quite calm. But I guess that is down to each having their own.

Pretty much every death in MP on modern warfare 2. If I played that game long enough, i would die of an anorism.

For me I have to say it was a WoW raid, the shadow council in hellfire peninsula. During the fight I was healing the OT and I was hit by a knock back spell, which landed me next to one of the bosses, who then did an aoe which sent me to the Mage boss who did an aoe which killed me. That's right, I was ping-ponged across the entire fight area and then killed, while having no control over it. It was glorious and infuriating.

Ninja Gaiden 2 on Master Ninja difficulty. Fighting the first boss while trying to avoid the explosive shurikan throwing ninjas.

That whole battle to me is bullshit.

I remember doing it, about an hour of deaths for that part alone on the first run threw. Call me an addict but I just couldn't stop.

The second to final battle in Mother 3.

It wasn't hard, but the end result pissed me off. I've been waiting YEARS (you heard me, YEARS) to break this particular characters neck, to finally put his corpulent, pimply, greasy hide in a coffin, to gain some measure of satisfaction after the crap he put me through both in this game and the last one.

...only to have him essentially escape justice? HE'S STILL LAUGHING AT ME! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
