only time i got so pissed i broke something was when i was playing diablo II and it lagged....in singleplayer -_-

I got so fed ut after having to deal with that shit, that i gave my keayboard a double fist of hammertime.

Result:
Keys littered all over my room.

In the end i managed to get a better machine, but it sure took time.

Every racing game ever invented.

Worst offenders: Mario Kart Double Dash, SSX Tricky, SSX 3, 1080 Avalanche, 1080 Snowboarding, Burnout 1 and 2, F Zero X and F Zero GX

I had to stop playing racing games after a while just because the computer started using BS tactics. In EVERY racing game I've ever played, you start off with the same car/snowboard/vehicle as everyone else, but by the end of the game, everyone's car somehow goes TWICE as fast as yours.
How does this happen? What code are they running that allows them to all of a sudden get EVERY red shell, miss EVERY oncoming car, avoid EVERY pit, and fly ahead of you at mach 7 while you're still on the first lap? We all have the EXACT SAME vehicles we did at the start of the game, so what form of steroids are you or your car on?

I used to love racing games. Now I stick with adventure, fps, and rpgs.

The later half of MW1 on veteran. I die in about four hits, which means I have to take cover but there's no cover system so I can't without exposing a fair bit of myself, and most of the time there's no real cover anyway. Also, enemies can hit me from fifty metres away while runnjing and firing on full auto form the hip, killing me with one quick burst. Bastards.

In Half-life 2, during whatever level it is where you get to control all those antlions, when you have to fight the two choppers at once, with maybe one or two spots of viable cover, and an ammo supply out in the fuckin' open, far away from any cover, with these stupid fucking rockets that fly all over the place before exploding uselessly on a roof or on you, and a now completely useless horde of giant bugs. I am still stuck on this level and I hate it with a passion.
hey atleast you found the rocket crate I didnt and I just threw barrels at em with the gravity gun yea AND I KILLED EM!
Holy shit, seriously? I've gotta give that a shot.
oh if your rockets are getting shot down then you just have to twirl em around and point em at them right when they get close you kinda stay away twirling then BAMN right in there face. also kill the metro cops first then the helicopter

Isn't there a lighthouse at that point? I remember fighting a pair of helicopters at a lighthouse, and the lighthouse was stocked full of rocket ammo and excellent cover. Made the whole thing insanely easy. I could be mistaken though.
no this is the part I think before the prison spot... oh and if you want to make it more hard do it on synergy with 5 other guys =D.

synergy is half life 2 co-op and everythings on hard mode

The whole 2nd half of prototype. Those big infected dog things that knock you down every .3 seconds. In a certain boss fight, my time was split 10% damaging her, 90% getting knocked around and healing.

Trying to get Silent Assassin rating on the harder missions of Hitman 2. It's hard enough without the NPCs screwing it up for you, example:
Shogun Showdown. I had delivered a masterclass in infiltrating a medieval Japanese castle, bamboozled an entire private army of katana-wielding ninja nutjobs and placed my bomb in the basement, ready to blow my target up into tiny tiny bits when he came down the stairs. The mission took a whole 25 painstaking minutes. I hit the security alert switch to smoke the target out, he runs out of the front door and into his waiting helicopter then takes off. Mission failed, says the game. BULL-FUCKING-SHIT, says I.

Y'know what was bullshit.

In Knights of the Old Republic, at the end of the Nemesis, you meet the Chinless Wonder and by and large you fuckstomp him, he's lucky if he lasts a single combat round by this point. And then Darth Jawbone suddenly gets some funky cutscene mojo where he's paralysed you and Bastila decides that she needs to "sacrifice" her whiny ass to save everyone, because this guy who you've literally just bent over and violated with a lightsabre is some major threat who you just can't beat otherwise.

That was bullshit.
This post made my day, I was pissing myself laughing throughout!

When a 100% accurate move misses. This bug is present in the first and fourth generations of Pokémon games.
I'm not sure it's a bug, you can get some items and berries that actually reduce the accuracy of the attacking pokemon's moves...you don't know about it because the game doesn't tell you, but it happens. For the fourth gen at least, not sure about the first.

I was killed couple of times in Crysis MP by respawning and despawning jeeps (damaged jeeps didn't just disappear, they blew up).

They're laser guided rockets. The missile goes where you're looking at. If you're looking at your feet, then... yeah.

Right! That place. I swore like a sailor having his leg amputated without anesthetic at that spot... But I only finished Half-Life 2 (and the episodes) as a point of pride, so it didn't really stick out. I think, what I did, was run from one of the little sheds to the other and just fired as I went. I actually managed to find a fair amount of cover.

Actually, that first tripod fight you do screwed me over. I had no idea where to go, so I spent three hours trying to hide behind cover in front of that first building your in, using the gravity gun to pull ammo and health packs to myself, and firing when I could. Once I figured the damn map out I was able to finish it quick enough, at which point a glitch decided to make it so the exit didn't spawn... I actually became surprisingly resourceful in that game :)
