Fair point. I think voting with my wallet is a sufficient strategy to use. But voicing errors a company has made is also good.JoJo said:To be expected maybe, but we should still care who screws over who, so us consumers can punish companies which continually screw over customers by avoiding their products. They may not care about the gamers but they will care when their bad reputation starts hitting their profit margins. We should all stay educated and try to reward good companies whenever possible, make it an effective business strategy to be good to your customers.Dead Century said:No one cares about the gamers. They care about their wallets. Not a hard concept to understand. I don't give a fuck which company screwed over whoever. That shit is to be expected.
If you think that was bad you haven't even heard the whole story. It wasn't even a debate over what was better, who had better suppliers, no, it was someone asking how the stealthing was in Batman Arkham City as well as combat as the person was planning on getting it for their console. I said it worked really well and played smoothly on Pc. Then some other random guy comes out of the blue and starts yelling that at me.GabeZhul said:But it's true! My PC really doesn't care about me! I was sick last week, and the bastard couldn't even be bothered to send me a get well card! /J
Seriously though, OP's experience might be the most off-the-wall stupid thing I have heard in the past few weeks, and I am a guy who frequently visits creationist youtube-channels for the lulz. At least there you expect the mind-numbing "arguments" in advance...
Of course it doesn't. It's a machine and not the sentient variety either. The Enquirer said:Insert Sony in there and you've got the basic response I got when I was asked why I play Pc games and was not getting a Playstation 4. I was told "PC DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE GAMERS!". Yes I was told that in all caps. This is why I stopped using Facebook and now shall continue to do so.

Indies are a touch more likely to care about the product they put out. One can have motivations other than money, but a corporation's raison d'être is money. That puts it at odds with the mentality people promote.MrHide-Patten said:Even indies (to which I am one) only care about your money, we want to create a game that you like enough that you'll feel inclined to buy the next one we put out, so we don't starve to death in our cardboard boxes.
Capcom do care thats why they are in such bad financial trouble they care so much that they just want to give the fans what they want regardless of whether it makes them money or not like that much longed for update of MVC3 thats totally happening soon no the games not being pulled what the hell you talking about, or ofc theres the new Megaman game fans wanted it gone and bam Capcom got rid of it despite all that money it would have brought in same with Darkstalkers 4 they were dead set on making that but once again the fans showed they didnt want it by not purchasing x million copies of Darkstalkers ressurection which contained 2 games that people who care about the franchise likely own multiple copies of already and Capcom kill the project thankgod they listen. Im just looking forward to the next Breath of Fire game I was hoping they would do something like that with the franchise for ages.TizzytheTormentor said:Anyone else remember Karutomaru? Who claimed Capcom cared for its fans, not money, that they cared only for the smiles on their fans faces than the money from their wallets.
Yeah, sure they do, that is why they didn't bring Ace Attorney Investigations 2 over....
[sub]NO! I am never getting over that![/sub]
Nah, I think PC is a pretty cool guy. Eh plays gaems and doesn't afraid of anything.Phrozenflame500 said:PC is an asshole. Screw that guy, he doesn't care about the gamers.
