Im really not sure whether to buy fable 3 or not I really enjoyed fable 2 bust most reviews say that its a step down from fable 2 and can get quite repetitive at times, I currently don't have a job at the moment so ifs a few games a every 2 months of so is this game worth the money?

I think you will get more replayability out of New Vegas personally but Fable III looks awesome too. I'm 45+ hours into New Vegas on my 1st playthrough and it seems like there are endless variables to the game. I could play it over about 10 more times and still not find everything.
I was thinking the same thing (buying new vegas i mean) but 45+ hours and still going strong that sound like my kind of game thanks :D

Yeah it's awesome. I don't think I'm even halfway through the story. I keep getting sidetracked. :D

From the what ive heard and im WATCHING someone play it everynight.....fable 3 sucks. It was too hard to program the clues and locations of your next objective, so you follow a little golden line from one thing to another, not looking at anything else really. Sometimes it glitches and leads you inthe wrong direction.
Its not HORRIBLE, but its not great, and it certainly not at ALL lives up to peter molynukeynukeys promises about the game.
Good to see you have New Vegas. Falllout 3 kept me busy for MONTHS, im in the same situation as you.

Id trust people whove played it more, though, but i know people whove played it. They say it sucks. My opinion...should be yours. lol

I'm enjoying Fable 3, but the problem is that it feels like the fable games have been getting slightly...lazier in each installment. This game has less spells, and less weapon options than previous games, and it also seems like they've gotten rid of the ability to use whatever emote you want, and instead just gives you a good one and a rude one in conversation, swapping them out for various things.

They've also gotten rid of gaining experience based on what you use in combat so all you do are collect guild seals through quests, battles and giving emotes to random townspeople. So you can use nothing but magic and just max out your physical stats, doesn't make much sense.

I know it sounds like I'm bashing the game, but I really only partially am. The game is still enjoyable, it still plays like Fable and the humor is still there.

Just part of it feels lazy and to me the best thing it's done is make me wanna go back and play the original.

Oh, and this is a small minor personal complaint but...your character talks >_> I wasn't a fan of that. I liked that Fable had more or less silent protagonists.

If you want New Vegas, I'd suggest getting that since Fable 2 has gone down to 20 bucks, and Fallout 3 is still expensive. So Fable 3 will probably get cheaper down the line if you wanna wait for it.

What reviews are this? Every review I've read so far has described it as an improvement on the previous installation...

Fable 3 is a good 20 hours main quest line if you take your time, can be more if you pace it better. It's a fantastic game, this is coming from someone who was disappointed in 2.

Also, it doesn't overstay it's welcome and it never got boring. There was never a time I wanted to stop playing. I got that feeling with New Vegas a few times.

The only issue i had was the humor.. it's just not funny, and it tries really, really hard. Maybe I just dont get British humor, though.
