I'm enjoying Fable 3, but the problem is that it feels like the fable games have been getting slightly...lazier in each installment. This game has less spells, and less weapon options than previous games, and it also seems like they've gotten rid of the ability to use whatever emote you want, and instead just gives you a good one and a rude one in conversation, swapping them out for various things.
They've also gotten rid of gaining experience based on what you use in combat so all you do are collect guild seals through quests, battles and giving emotes to random townspeople. So you can use nothing but magic and just max out your physical stats, doesn't make much sense.
I know it sounds like I'm bashing the game, but I really only partially am. The game is still enjoyable, it still plays like Fable and the humor is still there.
Just part of it feels lazy and to me the best thing it's done is make me wanna go back and play the original.
Oh, and this is a small minor personal complaint but...your character talks >_> I wasn't a fan of that. I liked that Fable had more or less silent protagonists.
If you want New Vegas, I'd suggest getting that since Fable 2 has gone down to 20 bucks, and Fallout 3 is still expensive. So Fable 3 will probably get cheaper down the line if you wanna wait for it.
