A poll option on Gfaqs brought up an interesting discussion on that site in regards to caffeine, with numerous people siding against it heavily. So I decided to pitch it here (especially since I started it there) for the Escapist's view on the subject. One aspect I always find curious is how some people believe these myths about Diet soft drinks and such causing x (cancer, loss of mental capacity for example) when I know people who have drank diet for decades without a single negative effect, hell it helped lose fat... so unless this became a negative I just cannot see it myself.
As for how much I drink?
One 473ml Energy Drinks (Sugar free/Diet)
Two 355ml cans of Diet Pepsi/Other soda
Couple half glass fulls of Diet Pepsi/Other soda (Not always)
6-10 cups of tea
Top that off with the occasional additional glasses and/or cans or bottles of diet Pepsi/soda or another energy drink in a day and essentially all I have beverage wise is laced with caffeine.
