Loose the cake. Beer is good enough by itself. If you must, I would go with pie rather then full blown cake.
BEER BEER!Rawne1980 said:Did someone mention beer?
You mean Magners hard cider? Because that actually does sound pretty good. I kind of want to go get a carrot cake and a six pack of cider now.Swyftstar said:I think it depends on the cake. You probably don't want a belly full of frosting and beer sloshing around. I'd also go with a heavy cake type as opposed to a fluffy one.
My party of this type would probably be Carrot Cake and a kegger of Magners. God, I'd eat and drink at that party until I passed out.
the moment i realized i said bear not beer /lol. always bin a fantasy of mine to have a perfectly domesticated bear, and if its a bear i can pick buds off of, even better i say!Jonluw said:What if you had a bear which, instead of being covered in fur, was covered in bud.tofulove said:replace the bear with pot, and you have your self a epic combination.
You could have an awesome pet bear, with an added bonus.
OT: I approve of the idea, although I enjoy some cheese and wine.
That sounds awesome. Although I believe the wine and cheese equivalent is beer and curry :3 cake might be a little filling with beer.Nickolai77 said:Hi Escapists, today i present to you a 1st world problem.
At Uni, my friends did quite a few Cheese and Wine nights- now, i'm fine with the wine but not cheese, so i decided to come up with my own variant. I don't like cheese but i do like cake, and whilst i don't mind wine i prefer beer, so i am thinking of bringing the two together for a social with my friends back home.
So yeah- Cake and Beer Party- the less bourgeois and more nerdy version than a cheese and wine night- do you think it will work or do you think it's just a silly idea?
Aye, the hard cider. I think the two flavors would mix nicely. It just came off the top of my head but I actually want to try it now myself. Leave of the frosting though. I still think beer (even cider) and frosting don't mix.Owyn_Merrilin said:You mean Magners hard cider? Because that actually does sound pretty good. Actually i'll admit the other option i am considering is beer and curry.Moonlight Butterfly said:That sounds awesome.
