Cake!

Yo guys, Andy here. I'm eating this lemon teacake, and it came to me - I have not for the life of me seen a thread about cake on The Escapist. I know, it's weird.

So, my question for all you guys out there on the interwebs - what's your favourite kind of cake?

For my answer ...I have to say, I love cheesecake, but if pressed? I'd say some kind of really thick chocolate mudcake. Now it's time for y'all to talk about your favourite cakes! ^_^

My Mother's and Auntie Margaret's Non-Baked Lemon Cheese Cake. It is literally the best cheese cake in the world. When I open up my own restaurant, it's going on the menu.

Outside of that, nothing really beats a basic vanilla sponge cake, creme chantilly and strawberry jam filling and steaming hot pot of Sri-Lankan tea.

Favourite cake hmmmm....

Well a beautiful Victoria Sponge made by my Mother is up there along with most forms of lemon cake and rich chocolate cake.

But the winners have to be my Mother's little fairy cakes. My two favourites are when she puts strawberry flavouring in the mix and they come out browny cake coloured on the outside by wonderfully pink on the inside. Also when she puts sugar strands (hundreds and thousands as I call 'em) in the mix and the cakes end up all speckled with multicolours.

Ahhh... sweet memories of childhood summers...

I forgot to go on topic with my favorite kind of cake in my last post, so I'm coming back here.

I'm not really a big fan of sweet foods, so this would in fact, be my favorite Cake.
