Ok let me rephrase that, he hasnt missed a good game yet.Kortney said:Yes he has. He wasn't in Call of Duty 3 or World at War.johnman said:Screw Soap, Captain Price hasnt missed a game yetLord Thodin said:Ill play as long as you are some relative or ancestor of Soap. Otherwise I cant find me liking it.
does sound better then another WW2 game, but couldn't they just make one from like befor WW2, like WW1 or the USA civl war?tomany2 said:AT the moment it is being rumored that Call Of Duty 7 will be in Vietnam, or any wars within that time period (60's - 80's).
REMEMBER this is not FACT its rumored because Treyarch (unfortunately) is licensing Music from the Vietnam wars time frame.
I think Vietnam would be a VERY interesting setting... I'm skeptical about buying the game if it is made though, just because Treyarch is creating it.
What are your thoughts on it?

Oh right... err... OK?vento 231 said:I enjoyed the airport level and thought it greatly contributed to the story line.Woodsey said:They'd never do it. Nor do I think they should, particularly. There's more than little distinction between that and the airport level in MW2.Furburt said:I await the My Lai level with morbid interest.
OT: Don't care anymore anyway. If IW having told my kind to fuck off, then Treyarch certainly will as well (assuming they played a role in the stupid decisions made, as well as Activision).
It'd certainly be interesting to see an American company recreate a war that they lost though. I know there's been a 'Nam game before but I think it was pretty shit, and subsequently ignored.

i would rather play a game where the machine gun is overpowered than a game full of M16 ,FAMMAS,and campers lots and lots of campers.AndyFromMonday said:JimmyBassatti said:snip
It's not that it doesn't happen, it's the fact that it is not publicized, and when it is publicized everyone makes a huge fuss out of making it an example. We can be nearly 100% sure that the Nazi's committed obscene crimes against the Jews, but no game designer is going to be dumb enough to show the massacre of innocent children in their game, and unless Treyarch is asking for e-suicide and massive lawsuits, neither are they in their newest title.Floppertje said:I don't think THAT is a common sight, even during wartime. I agree, wars are gruesome, but this takes the cake.m.zajac said:Welcome to War.Lemon Of Life said:'He fired at it [the baby] with a .45. He missed. We all laughed. Don't be disgusting. Seriously, that's horrific.
in 'normal' wars, people don't shoot babies while their mates stand around laughing...
Yeah, MW2 has a lot of campers. I've encountered them in Call of Duty 4 but in no way as prevalent like in MW2.sabercrusader said:i would rather play a game where the machine gun is overpowered than a game full of M16 ,FAMMAS,and campers lots and lots of campers.AndyFromMonday said:JimmyBassatti said:snip
i dont see very many campers on WAW at all besides NAZI ZOMBIES IS AWESOME TOO.
Floppertje said:I agree on the stealth part very much, from both perspectives.ayahtzeefan said:this sounds pretty cool, i think it would give more chances for stealth levels because of the fact that you are in jungles. in my opinion the stealth levels were way better than the shoot everyone who doesn't dress like you levels. this idea seems to have a lot of potential and i think i would enjoy playing it. also i don't know much about the Vietnam war so i don't think ill be able to guess whats going to happen next.
as for the knowing what will happen... I think most of us do know. but we knew what would happen in WW2 and that didn't stop CoD2 and WaW from being fantastic...
