And for 15 bucks I can buy the new expansion for Bad Company 2 that has like 8 maps, new weapons, new vehicles, and new voice overs.

Obvious choice is obvious.
obvious opinion is irrelevant. i hate bad company, and some new crap isnt gunna change it. im distributing my money between these maps, assassins creed dlc, dragon age awakening, and a new effects pedal for my guitars.
My opinion and what I said were both VERY relevant to this thread. There are a lot of people talking about the price of the maps and how it isn't a good value. My example of another company's DLC shows that it is possible for a dev/pub to release A LOT more content for that price and therefore it is indeed, a ripoff.

So, my opinion may not be relevant to YOU, as you have stated that you are fine with paying 15 bucks for 3 maps for a game you like. However this thread isn't about you, is it?

I don't understand, why do you people keep complaining about something ACTIVISION did last year?, I don't buy COD games anymore since MW2, I'm no longer interested on the series, nor on giving money to the man behind the company. If you don't like to spend $15 for a map pack, don't do it!, better yet, don't ever, EVER, buy a COD game from now. I sure did.

This map pack is worth the price alone if they do one thing: turn off the friction on the ice rink.

The thought of having a bunch of people sliding around firing wildly cursing at a Zamboni fills my Canadian heart with glee.
Sounds like the one thing that might make this map pack interesting, or at least amusing. Anyway, I'm not playing Black Ops as much as I was playing MW2, so don't think I'll be stumping up this much for a map pack again. Even if they are actually all original this time around.

*Looks at fourm*

*Counts how many people ***** and moan about $15 maps that aren't copy pasted from previous game at least*

*Still considers buying the DLC, after all, 5 ALL new maps, one that is zombie related*

*Proceeds to close tab of this fourm, to avoid more people who ***** and moan*

*Puts flame shield for the extra feisty ones*
Its funny because if you look at the description for the maps 2 of them are reskins of campaign levels so youre actually paying 15 for 3 original maps.Thats why people are pissed because thats what MW2 did so how about you get your head out your ass before you judge others who actually see why this is a problem.

Maybe I'm just too rich (I'm not) but I really don't mind the 15 dollars. I minded it in fucking MW2.

But I'd pay 10 dollars for a new zombie map. So I will gladly pay 15 for thismap back.

While I still think 3 bucks a map is way to much, at least A. all the maps are original and B. one of them is a zombie map.
That was my thoughts when I heard about this. At least we get a zombie map and new maps. I just hope they are good.

ZOMBIES! Zombies zombies zombies zombies zombies!

Enough said.
Will be picking this up as soon as I can on the PS3. Must have more of the Zombie storyline.
(I suppose asking for a full zombie game is too much?)

I hate zombie mode, so the zombie pack is just worthless to me!
Wha-wha-what? Is...is it possible to use those words in a sentence that way? :)

I've never heard of someone who doesn't like the zombie mode. Why don't you like it? I'm curious.

I didn't get MW2, but I made the mistake of buying this one, good game, but i'm not paying for maps that shoulda been in the game already AND used to be free not too long ago. Last COD game for me, i'll play the next one at a friend's house.

Y'know, I'm really annoyed at the fact that Treyach keeps regarding Kowloon as it's own city when in fact it's just another district of Hong Kong. Saying "Kowloon is an area of China" is like saying "Brooklyn is an area of the United States".
hum..Brooklyn IS an area of the United States.

I saw a screenshot of the map and the name appears to be lying to us, the shot I saw was merely a tiny garden area with a stadium in the background.
