Actually this is the first year I don't feel awkward being single, I barely registered it was upcoming at all. Normally I book the day off and watch a load of films/play a load of games and avoid the hell out of it.

I honestly never even remember which day is supposed to be Valentine's day most of the time. I see some stuff for it for a while, then one day it's gone. I don't really care at all, and never understood why someone would.

Man, I wish I could not notice. I almost managed to forget about it this year, but people just will not shut the fuck up about it. At work, at dance, at the pub, fucking everywhere.

OT: Go to work in the morning. Come home in the afternoon. Eat, play videogames, listen to music and go to sleep. Same as every tuesday. Balls to it.

Seriously guys - relationships are not worth it while you are young. Been there, done that, waste of time. As much as you may not understand yet, casual hookups are far, far more pleasurable then attempting a relationship with a woman when so many seem to be boring, insipid, uninspiring and incredibly insecure.

Last year's Valentine's Day was a lot of work. Made her happy and whatnot... but I was just glad when it was over. Even the sex at the end wasn't as good as the usual stuff. Never did understand the appeal of romance or narcotics. I've been told they're one and the same.
This year I'm single, so I get to ignore Valentine's Day... and I consider myself fortunate.

Meh I just got a girlfriend today and I have no idea what to buy her or if I should buy or anything at all so it's not all that great. Valentine's day is just a holiday cooked up by card making companys. The only plus is side is you're almost guaranteed to get laid if you are in a relationship.
