Not single this year, but last year I had a great time anyway because me and a couple friends had a dinner party and a few drinks. Just get some people who aren't entangled together and have a good time.

Nothing planned really.

Just going to wallow in my own self-pity a bit more than usual - the same thing I do every holiday, when I see people with non-fucked up lives being happy as clams.

1)Most women are insecure. Whether it's on the surface or not is a different matter.
2)Many do not have any hobbies.
3)Intelligent ones tend to not be terribly attractive, which is not helped by their lack of fashion sense.
4)Attractive ones tend not to be intelligent, but seem to be more socially able. Doesn't take a genius to put points 3 & 4 together and come to a logical conclusion as to why that is.
5)Intelligent ones are rarely in shape and the ones that are in shape tend to be very rough.
Yep, you do have pretty severe woman issues right there. Personally, I love guys that are out of shape crying they can't get a perfect supermodel with a high IQ (but of course not as smart as he is, that'd make his manhood shrivel up).

Thankfully I don't date guys, and thankfully I know most guys don't have your issues (otherwise I'd be worried about my straight friends). And as someone dating women, I know your points are wrong by experience. The real world is not a videogame, there is no particular balance. Smart women tend to also be more in shape on average. Comes with, you know, being smart and thus eating healthy.

@Topic: Go to a gay bar, obviously. Besides, the whole relationship judging mostly happens among straight people, so I don't need to do anything special to "survive" the day. Really, if someone whines at you for being single, just shrug. There really could be worse.

To be honest, if you celebrate love only on one day, it can't be that strong a love to begin with.

My sig other is another country so it will be second year of Valentine's Day alone. I'm also unsure of the future of us. I will be teaching all day and come home to play piano. Though I'd probably spend most of my piano playing time watching sc2 tournaments. I don't think I will do a Valentine's Day lesson due to I know how horrible it made me feel growing up when no one ever gave me any cards. Such a cruel cruel thing for a teacher to do, because when I was little, I learned how much people disliked me (well having rocks thrown at me was a sign too).

Valentine's Day is very commercial here in Korea, but I find it less annoying perhaps due to not being in high school or college anymore. Back then I was a wreck on Valentine's Day.

If it was on the weekend, I would go with my friend to a lesbian bar. Lol the strangest compliment I have gotten was that I was so cute because I reminded the Korean girls of the dolls they had when they were little due to long hair and white skin.

Hah, I got comments like that in Berlin last year, too. I guess it's a look gay girls really dig ^^

Totally off topic to rest of thread

Watching that nerd do funny shit.
Totally off topic to the thread (already posted my comment) but I let out a fangirl squeal when I saw mention of Day9. ^^ Due to Korea being a day ahead, it means that the video I will see on the 14th would be this week's Funday Monday which is always a blast to watch. If only I had Day9's confidence and unapologetic attitude about being a nerd.

ummm, this year I got a job interview and class on the 14th. I am at a school where most people are male nerds - AKA single - So I don't really have any issues being there on the 14th. In fact, I fit in.

Just remember, for every person single on Valentine's Day, there's one guy being forced to watch Twilight/The Vow, one guy being chewed out for not getting the right present, and one guy spending $100 on food.

I am serving my conscription at the moment and because of that I'll be on a training camp during Valentine's day so I probably won't be thinking about it too much.

it's simple for me, first 8 hours school, when I get home I have to study for my math test for about 2 hours, afther that 1.5 hours hapkido (a martial arts) training and when I get back I go sit on the couch with some snacks and go watch NCIS.

Sorry for spelling and grammar mistakes.
