Yes, money does buy happiness. Don't let the rich folks tell you it wont!

No, but it relieves a ton of stress.

I don't want to be filthy rich, but I sure am tired of being dirt poor

Happiness is generally thought of as a synonym for video games.

In b4 the wave of "I don't need money to be happy" philosophers.

I'm just going to say what everybody says in my family, including myself.

No, but it certainly helps.

For me it does.
I love money.
And where i shop is filled with happiness.

Though for some people it wont, it really depends on your outlook on life.

I don't know what that question means D:

Of course money can make you happy. You can buy a new game and have fun for a few hours!
Money won't keep you happy though. Sooner or later you'll want to do something with your life and socialize.

Money can ward off certain types of unhappyness and bring certain types of happyness. It's not something you can rely exclusively on since you also need to satisfy your social needs though, but given the choice between having a trillion dollars or not having a trillion dollars, I'm the kind of person who would be inclined to believe the former would be better.

Kind of, it's like a happiness catalyst.

Also, hi New Person! Here's a guide I wrote for people like you, although there are better ones in the off topic section. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.215956-Someone-just-called-me-a-dumbass-How-not-to-fly-into-a-rage-over-every-internet-argument]

Always make sure to quote people you're responding too (done with the quote button on the bottom right of their post) so that they're informed of the response. The reply button does nothing, just like the goggles.

I also suggest you join some user groups like this one, we're pretty awesome [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Aardvarks-Anonymous].

Have fun here or we'll kill you.
