Ok, really, stop posting threads about Skyrim. I know, Skyrim is a great game, yes, I to love the Elder Scrolls series, and I´m getting Skyrim as soon as I can, but when every 5 minutes I see a thread saying "What´s your equipment on Skyrim?", "What's your background on Skyrim?, "Imperials or some faction" Iada, iada, iada, I just think "how is it possible to post so many threads about one thing?". By no means stop expressing your love for what seems to be an excellent game, but can we please stop filling the Escapist forums about it? Bethesda and the game itself have their own forums, ya know?

Captcha: yes it´s my duty to post this thread, now stop calling me shit. (duty iashite)

EDIT: Oh, for fuck´s sake, can´t I even post this thread without someone posting ANOTHER thing about Skyrim?!
EDIT: Yes, I get the Irony of needing to post about Skyrim to ask people to stop people posting more about it. No need to say it.

You just made a thread about Skyrim.

Look at yourself. Look at what you have become.

I understand where you're coming from, I'm getting Skyrim as soon as I can. Pretty much all my friends have it right now. There is an excess of topics about it I think but give it a while, it'll have to die down. Wait for the Christmas period to end. Until then, dance my friend.

16 threads about Skyrim on the first page alone. Yeah, that's probably too many.

I love the irony of these threads.

But oh gosh, one of the biggest games of the year is out, thousands of people are playing it and they're talking about it on a gaming forum? Well I never.

Seriously dude chill. This happened when Mass Effect 2 came out. This will happen when Mass Effect 3 comes out. This happens with most big releases. It will pass.

I love threads like this..

"I'm going to make a thread about something i'm sick of seeing threads about thus contributing to the ever increasing amount of threads about said subject".

But back to the topic.

No, we must have more threads.

MORE I TELL THEE.

I have no idea why, stop questioning me.

I'm sure it will captcha, i'm sure it will.

If people want to talk about it then why shouldn't they?

Incoming horde of "oh the irony" posts detected on radar.

OT: I wish people would shut their noise holes about it too, but I realize that it's not going to happen. Ever. EVER.

People still make threads about Fallout 3 and Oblivion for crying out loud.

Big games get lots of discussion threads on gaming forums soon after they are released. It happens.

(at least this isn't a "why all the hate" thread)

This is what, the tenth thread requesting that people not talk about Skyrim in particular? If you want to change the composition of the hot threads then make interesting topics full of discussion value which will intrigue the majority of escapists. Unless you are able to do this, the board will be full of skyrim threads for another 2 weeks.

They should just make a forum called 'Trending' for whatever the current obsession is, for now it would be the Skyrim forum then when people finally shut up about it, it will become the TOR forum and eventually going back to ponies and the cycle will be complete. No more skyrim/pony threads and no more 'STFU about skyrim/pony' threads elsewhere.

But seriosuly, I mean no offense :D

OT: People obviously love the game, are excited about it, and want to share that excitement with others. What do you care?

It does seem like people have gone a little overboard on the Skyrim threads, but the Skyrim audience is this website's core demographic, WRPG fans. It really isn't that surprising, people on this site are the exact kind of people who are going to fall in love with Skyrim.
