You just made a thread about Skyrim.

Look at yourself. Look at what you have become.

Now, I think the bubble of skyrim threads is awesome, it's a great game that really deserves the huge amount of attention it's getting.

You guys! You guys! Holy shit! Stop the presses, get off your key boards, quit feeding your cats!

THIS GUY IS TELLING US WHAT TO DO, AND BY GOD WE MUST OBEY HIM BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY HE IS THE SUPREME RULER OF OUR FREE WILL AND WE HAVE NO FUCKING SAY SO IN THE MATTER AT ALL. AT ALL. AT. ALL.

I'm so sorry good sir, I will make it my personal goal in life to find all people who have created a Skyrim thread after this post and KILL THEM.

Don't tell us what to do. Are these your boards? Didn't fucking think so. Thank you.

This is a gaming forum and 90 percent of us are playing Skyrim and it rocks. Learn to deal with it.

Hope you like Mass Effect 3 threads, we'll likely see just as many of them come March of next year.

On the bright side Skyrim threads will have died down long before then. Keep in mind, the game has only been out a week...and it's massive. We're still just scratching the surface of the game and so there is lots of stuff to discuss. Expect these topics to keep appearing in one form or another for another few weeks at least.

Yeah guys c'mon, talking about a game we've been waiting for for about 4 or 5 years on a gaming forum and getting enthusiastic about it.

We should all be ashamed of ourselvs....

No. The onus is on YOU to lay low for a month, as you are in the VAST minority here.

I love the Skyrim threads, they hype me up for Christmas.

This thread reminds me of that one time in Skyrim when I found some awesome Dwemer ruins and then got killed by a chaurus. Buzzkill.

The answer is no-- skyrim is fun, and everyone wants to talk about it. Its a solo game, but we want everyone to know what we're doing.

The important questions are: How many skulls have you collected in skyrim, and what is your favorite in-skyrim book?

I am hoarding troll skulls and stacking skill books on surfaces. Feels good man!

Nope. We like it, we want to know other people's experience with it, and this is one of our favorite communities (hopefully). Hell, this is what forums are for. If it's too much for you, stay out of Gaming Discussion for a while.

Firstly - Thanks for contributing to the number of Skyrim threads! *sarcastic face*

Secondly - Skyrim is a huge game with a huge fanbase and it just came out a few days ago. This kind of situation (all the threads about it) is inevitable for ANY major, highly anticipated release. It's just something you will not be able to stop. Therefore, I have three suggestions for you:

1 - Wait for about a couple of weeks. They should start dying out by early December if not sooner.

2 - Ignore them. Simple enough. It's not like someone is forcing you to notice these threads here. If so, you should be trying to signal help instead of making this thread.

3 - ... And this works EVERY SINGLE TIME: Unplug your computer from the internet. I guarantee you that you won't see a SINGLE Skyrim thread.

'Nuff said.

Ok, screw this, you're right, people can post whatever the hell they want.
This thread's done, nothing to see here, this getting a little to trollish.

so... you are angry that people are using forums to talk about something they like with other people you like it. I don't actually see a problem with that unless the people at the Escapist asks us to stop as it is their forum not yours. Anyway Skyrim is a huge release this yeah so it is understandable that gamers would want to discuss their favourite game currently and also one I am sure they have been waiting for.

I saw this was a Skyrim thread so this looked like a perfect place to find someone that could help me out.

I've just started a new character, an orc beef cake. I've made her very good in smithing and can make Dwarven stuff. Orcish is said to be next in the skill tree. Is that wrong?

I can make Orc weapons supirior already (not just fine) when I imporve them. Didn't check if I can make the weapons and armor itself. Is that a bug? Or perhaps just a mistake in the game?

Good idea. Let's talk about ponies instead.
Just give it some time. People are excited about the game because it's new and has lots of content to provide. Things will die down when we've had a chance to explore the game in detail.
