If your teacher lures you into the broom cupboard after school under false pretenses, you're legally allowed to punch him in the nuts. It's law, after all.

I'd say that if I needed to punch a teacher, I would. That doesn't include anything the guy says. If he crosses the line, let his superiors take care of it.

I wouldn't since i'm spineless and don't stand up for myself. But i never trust most teachers in the slightest. In fact. I tend to despise some of them. But they're like the police. Theres good ones and bad ones. i tend to like teachers that are fair, for example. Like if another student is being a complete idiot he can be punished and i won't mind.

But there was this one time a teacher was unfair to me. I went to turn up for this technology project F1 thing we were doing and got the basic information and went off to the library to get some work done, since i was unaware that i was supposed to work on it in the technology rooms. So, i was called back and 2 girls were also called in who hadn't even turned up to get the basic information about what we were meant to be doing. She talks to the three of us. She listens to the two girl's excuses and quickly moves on to me, not angry at them in the slightest, well, because she's clearly sexist. She yells in my face in FRONT OF EVERYONE which was both embarrasing and infuriating, despite i was the only one out of the three that bothered to turn up to get the information i was the only one in the wrong. Annoying.

If they were being a complete and utter twat as a person, not just because that's your view on them as a teacher.

If someone insulted my dead father, it's go time. I'll do a hell of a lot more than punching. Other than that, I only fight to defend myself. I try to avoid conflict.

Pretty much. Anyone who would respond to non violence with violence is someone I would consider maladjusted. Obviously there are endless self defense hypotheticals in which I would punch or do worse to an instructor, but you could say that about most anyone.
If one seeks to stop non-violent aggression and similar means have failed (and retreat is not an option for one reason or another) there is nothing unreasonable about resorting to violence. Indeed, to call it maladjusted is silly given how common this sort of thing is in any part of the world.

I'd rather not punch anyone, but if provoked enough, I'd probably punch just about anyone.

if he really deserved it (i say he cause i would never hit a woman)

for example, if he happens to hit me first then of corse i would kick his ass so hard that the devil himself wouldnt want to drag me to hell in fear of his own life.

the oppertunity has come up where i felt the urge to hit my teacher for being such a dick to me and my friends just because i forgot to turn in an assaignment

Violence is the last resort of the incompetent - Isaac Asimov

If I truly felt a teacher deserved to be hit, I would think of something much worse than a punch.

It´s not ok to punch anyone, that said i have punched a lot of people.
Some more deserving than others.
I have got punched, again sometimes more deserving than others.

People puches all the time, it´s more a question of time before one of those punches gonna end up in a teachers face.

You can´t punch someone for beeing a teacher, but you can punch that same person for beeing a douchebag, just don´t do it at school, AND don´t go to his house either, police won´t like that.

Just wait for a random encounter and strike, preferably when you don´t go to that school anymore.

2 things to keep in mind here. "sit by the river long enough and the bodies of you´re enimies will come floating by" and the classic "revenge is best served cold", icecold 20 years later. Learn how to hold a grudge. :)
No, you don't have a right to punch a person because they are, by your definition, a "douchebag". You can argue a right to use violence when you yourself were faced with it, but to use it as compensation for what is a clear lack of intellect or wit, is not a thing to be proud of.

And I have a feeling you are greatly misconstruing the intent of those quotes. Sit by the river long enough and EVERYBODY'S body will float by, especially if that river is the Ganges. The proverb says to have patience because your enemy will eventually destroy himself or be destroyed by someone other.
well, the joke obviously went over you´re head here mate. I really don´t hope you take EVERYTHING this litteraly.
Obviously I don't. Your "joke" looked a hell of a lot like seriousness. Have you been on the Internet long?
Iv´e been online the last 16 years why does that matter?

You need to have more faith in you fellow humans matey.

Yes, why not there not anything more important than I am. that's also the most likely situation in which I would start beating a teacher, If they think there better than me I will start breaking him. other than that just bullshiting around with teachers that I do like which is normally also trowing each other into shit or randomly out of the blue punching into one's liver, i would not care cause i know that he will probably return the favor whenever i'm not looking. that's how i like my teachers like an equal, and if they don't agree where gonna have a problem

If he assaulted me with bad intentions basically. Otherwise, no.

I once almost punched a military officer, but that's far more serious business than teachers though. And a long story... I did write it halfway already, but then erased it as it's rather off-topic.

That's a good question. It's interesting to think how far teacher's could go with insults to students. I remember one teacher at secondary school used to insult us a lot and threw stuff at us. althought it was 'just a joke'. Anyway he recently got fired for telling a child to put their hand over a bunsen burner whilst he had a flammable chemical on his hand.

I'm currently training to be a primary school teacher and there is so much we have to learn about child protection and things. Haven't learnt much about behavior yet though.

Unless the teacher is physically attacking you in an illegal way, no way. You can NOT strike a person simply for something they SAY to you. Because otherwise, here's what would probably happen: The teacher could sue you and your parents. And most likely he/she would win. If you're a minor, it'll last a few years on your record, and if you're 18 or over, it is assault. Assault is a felony. And a felony is on your record FOREVER.
