Terrorism is defined in the Code of Federal Regulations as “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives” (28 C.F.R.
That's pulled from a quick google search on the definition of terrorism, established back in 2002-2005 according to the . From the FBI's own site. Seems to fit quite perfectly with what the chucklefucks from Jan. 6 did to me. The fact that they looked really fucking stupid while doing it, doesn't change the fact that they engaged in acts of sedition and terrorism. You don't get to discount the actions of the entire group, based on the fact that some of them were treating it like a frat party, and personal advertisement platform for their businesses. There were people going in there, by violently smashing through windows, while yelling "Kill them!" , actively seeking out specific members of government that conflicted with what THEY thought should happen, apparently with the intent to, AT BEST, hold them against their will and/or try and intimidate them to following THEIR thoughts on what should happen, and at worst, with the intent to fucking KILL THEM.
You don't swarm a building, smash down barricades, break windows, scream out "kill them" and "Hang Mike Pence" bring body armor, physical restraints, and all the other shit we've clearly seen them do, and acknowledge from their own fucking mouths, to just have a reasoned discussion with a party that you disagree with. They were a violent mob, intent on using violence and force, to usurp the political process, and prevent a duly elected official, from being confirmed as duly elected.
