At first I was like WTF but then I saw the "collaboration with the 16-20 year olds" line. I can just imagine what that went like.
Developers: We need you to come up with a premise for a game to teach teenagers safe sex.
16-20 year olds: Ok, whatever. *makes something up in 15 minutes*
Developers: Thanks.
16-20 year olds: Wait, you were serious?
It's a step in the right direction, but I think the characters need to be less offensively labeled for it to gain widespread acceptance.

How the fuck am I supposed to know about a new vaccine available only in Canada, or the statistical occurrences of pregnancy within the first month of trying!!?? My friend who is a doctor couldn't answer those!

This game cheats to make people feel like they don't know enough about sexual health, it is manipulative, and also, gross.
You mean Gardasil? That's available in all developed nations.
Huh, this is odd, I've also never heard of this HPV either, I always considered myself pretty well educated too. :(

Seems that here in the UK our girls are given Cervarix rather than Gardasil, according to the National Health website it's pretty much the same thing though. Still not sure how I managed to go through life never hearing of this HPV thing which seems to be such a big deal.
Gardasil is what we were given in Australia. Cervarix would be the same thing under another name. I only know about HPV because of the huge campaign they did here to get women under 26 vaccinated.

"Wonder Vag"

I am so jealous of Canadians right now.

Anyone else think its a bit racist that Wonder Vag the virgin is white, but Power Pap is Latino and her bio is "sexually active but gets tested"?

Interesting concept but untimately unsettling on many levels. Not much "game" really - just a True/False test with images that may require eye bleach to forget and hilariously disturbing sounds.

I'm all for sex ed and all, but this is just creepy.

Not sure if it has been said (I haven't read all the comments) but there are posters that you can download. Posters about chlamydia!

The Japanese would love this, Seriously, It is informative, better than having to read it in a book.

"Son, be sure to use protection when engaging in sex. Cause if you don't you WILL get a std that turns your arms into dicks, and captain condom will force you to drink your own jizz!

I played as Willy the kid (a male character) because his power fits with his name so well...Does that make me weird? or was I that way already?

The abstinence promotion might have been with a different character.

This could probably work as an actual game pack if it was released with some other health-related games and the questions came from an online data bank.

The 'Sperminator' was pretty weird for a villan, but why do you cure him at the end, I didn't get that

I feel so ashamed of being Canadian right now. "Wonder Vag", really? REALLY?!? I have to try this shit out.

EDIT: Got through it with only two incorrect answers, and each time, my character's response was "It's sticky!"... Oh god.

I regret mentioning that I live within an hour's drive of London, Ontario. I read a local paper article on this.

I need to get out of here. NOW.

Same here, thankfully it was only because I read the questions wrong...
Only been awake for 30 minutes...

OT: It's a good idea, Albeit more likely to make people feel uncomfortable for playing it than informed, but even so, sometime you gotta risk some discomfort to learn important things like this...

I will however call to question why it was necessary for the 'villain' have penises for arms...
