Ya know.. Nature will find another way to exterminate us.
Nah
We will.

Seriously, most people dying of cancer are WAY past their expiration date.
Sure, it's sad for all the moms and dads in their 30s or for a buddy of mine who died at the age of 20 from a brain tumor. But why would we want to cure anything that helps us not getting to 20 billions and fucking up the planet and the economy even more?

Also: If you cured cancer, the next thing you did, was being washed up at a shore of your choice because a quite powerful industry will kill your ass for ruining chemo-therapy buisness.

As far as I know, we still got SARS hep A & B and AIDS floating around with no cure for any of them, only treatment of symptoms.

That and around a couple of hundred thousand strands of viral dieseases that we can't seem to combat effectively.

I WOULD WATCH THE WORLD BURN.
Slowly.
Over a couple of generations.

Actually, I'd put all of my money towards biomechanical engineering. I want to be a robot one day. That should would be so cash.

Troll version: I would ninja-infect the internet and the streets with this cure all while posing as a Nigerian Prince who wants his 16 million dollars, if you so much as act kind to me or reply with hate e-mails I will send you the cure, straight up no shipping/handling or price.

Good Guy Greg version: Ninja the cure to a local hospital where it is then proven and give the nicest doctor the credit for it if he swears in all legalness to make the cure cheap.

I suppose I'd wait 15 years for full implementation and then pick up my Nobel prize in medicine. It would, of course, be worth a fortune and I'm sure I'd get top dollar from a pharmaceutical company.

Dare I say it I don't think that is going to happen for a long time. There was a man who supposidly found a cure for cancer. A one Dr Stanislaw Burzynski using a Antineoplastons theropy that in essence just makes the body kill off its own cancer it is none toxic and sounds pritty good look it up if you want.

The Drugs administration did not like him and tried to sue him multaple times for bad practices that he did not do.

But the meat of the matter if there is a cure for cancer the drug making people would loose sooo much revinue from cancer charities they do not want a cure. Simply put.

But ye is a or the cure becomes the norm I guess a lot of people will be releaved, and a lot of researches will be able to be moved to other cures.

Excessive population is the biggest cancer of the human age. We can't cure it. We can't slow it. We will have a famine and die from it. Welcome to environmental science.

Probably a metric Fuck-ton of drama, because if I discovered the cure for cancer, I'd do everything in my power to keep it from becoming a money spinner for some company. I'd want it as cheap as possible so the biggest number of people who needed it could access it.

And we all know how well that would go over, at least here in America.

Edit: Dear Captcha, what is an iGrower?

I'd patent it, charge rich people shitloads for it so that I don't have to work anymore, then make it free.
Everybody wins!

You are suggesting that we would just hand it over. YOu don't do that, you find a way to reduce the strength of it. If you sell the cure, then fine people don't have cancer anymore. BUt if you sell a weakened version, they will keep having to come back to buy more.
