As karen attacked one of her clones she soon realised that tough they were made of wood, functionally their body was the same as hers, as her claw scratched the clones skin instead of slicing through it. The clone grabbed her arm, quickly the other clones started dog piling her.

As william ran towards the shaman he was decked by the last piece of the shield, another bright flash as william flew away and hit a tree. The flash of light blocked rias's view as she attempted to grab her sword. When the light cleared William was lying next to a tree unharmed and the shaman was spitting up blood as clairs sword pierced trough his neck.

The behemoths eyes slowly started to close, the trees turned slowly back to normal and the wooden clones started becoming inanimate. A couple of vulture gryphons came down form the sky and started eating the bodies of the two shaman, only moments after the grey one's body hit the ground. By the time the behemoth came to rest all that was left of the fight was a hill were the behemoth rose, wooden statues of the clones, the sleeping and unconscious sophronius and the two dead shaman.

william is able to increase or decrease the mass of an object he is touching by 20%, the forces acting on the objects won't be affected by this power neither will be the momentum. So the acceleration and velocity of the object will also increase or decrease (except for things such as acceleration by gravity were mass doesn't affect it). This will also increase or decrease density as the size of the object doesn't change. It also means the object will heat up quicker or slower. I am sure there is plenty more stuff, if you are unsure about anything run it by me.

Everything was quiet and still. Bom walked over to the dead Shaman. He had half a mind to snap its legs into odd positions and stuff feathers in its mouth, but decided against it in the end. Yama humour always seemed to get lost on humans anyway.

He smirked to himself and turned to the others.

"Mission accomplished? Excellent! But what about the village?"

He frowned at the sight of the battlegrounds.

"I'm not sure the Sophers or the Trents will like this. What about their shaman?"

Rias

Rias recoiled a little at the bright flash, but it faded in time for her to see a portal with a sword coming out of it and into the shamans neck. after grabbing her sword and sheathing it, she sat down on the ground, watching the Behemoth go back to its rest, resting her self, between the stress she put on her existing wound, the venom and the new shoulder wound she was just kinda 'done' for now

"K, can we not get into any fights for a few days? i would like a chance to heal up properly" Rias said with a tired sigh

Karen

Karen clawed her way out of the dog pile, she had a few small cuts and scraps but as she stood up, it was the bruise on her back that got her attention, "well that was fun, whats next?" she said with out any hint of sarcasm or irony as she met back up with the group, while rubbing the sore spot on her back that was making it self known

Claire gave the blade in the shaman's back a good twist before drawing it back; about half to ensure his death was true and half out of spite; give or take 50%. She had hardly exited the forest before she walked slowly over TO Rias; intent on checking her wounds.

Again.

"Well, at least we'll have appeased the Trent" Claire muttered to no one in particular.

Fromanzio laughed at everything around him. He had killed a shaman that day, which was a happy thing indeed because magic users were the bane of everything. He replaced his bombs, grabbed the knives he had thrown and sighed.

"Alright then, time to kill a tree. He is going to come with all the destruction and who knows if he will be friendly after you all realigned yourselves with Fromanzio?"

Rias

Rias just sat there, didn't turn to look at Fromanzio or anything "Have fun getting your self killed" she said as she then decided laying down was a better idea.

Karen

"uh huh, you do that. since you did all of, nothing, in that last battle, I'm not following you anywhere." Karen said in the same blunt manner she always did

Fromanzio laughed at Karen. "Oh? Fromanzio remembers the gripping struggle of the brutier brute fighting a wooden clone of herself...and losing! At least Fromanzio managed to kill a shaman and a few other Sophronious. Really, you brutes probably can't tell up from down!"

Fromanzio went back to laughing at Karen. "Perhaps the general sent you not because he couldn't control you, but because he thought you were useless! Someone so headstrong and stupid probably served little use aside from moving heavy things and you won't even do that." Fromanzio switched to a mocking tone "Ohhhh but I can punch things Fromanzio!" He switched back "Yeah well so could Rook and look where that got him!"

Fromanzio looked back up at the sky. He still had never avenged Rook. He probably should have. Oh well.

Karen started giggling, low at first, then louder " is that the best you can come up with? struggling against clones of my superior form? you are ether wholly ignorant of how tough that form is, or, you are dumber then your choice of clothing suggests. but I'm betting the answer is BOTH" Karen started

"so far as i've seen, all YOU kill where a bunch of dumb animals, as the shaman was acting less like an intelligent, and there for DANGEROUS opponent, and more like the wild beast his races forms would suggest at a glance, the troll I took down, alone i might add, was 'smarter' then the shaman that you are so eager to brag about slaying she said waving him off like the coward she saw him as "come back and try to impress me when you've actually got something to brag about, coward then grinned an a sly, evil way, from the way he acted after he brought up Rook, he clearly had some respect for the man "as for the 'Rook', the weak die and the strong live, your friend, was clearly far WEAKER then you knew"

"as for the 'Rook', the weak die and the strong live, your friend, was clearly far WEAKER then you knew"

Fromanzio's laugh became hysterical at this point. "Oh? Oh? You talk about killing beasts and then brag about a troll? Then you insult one of the most renowned assassins in history? Fromanzio could have handled a wooden clone if he needed to. Fromanzio has killed far scarier than you and will continue once you die of your own stupidity at some point."

Fromanzio looked up at the sky for a moment and laughed again. He walked over to the dead shaman and cut off one of its paws. Storing the limb in his sack. "To think however, that we just killed someone who could summon THAT thing...who needs an army? Fromanzio will simply blow them all up!" His laugh pierced through the forest.

Karen

"oh he was an assassin, well that chances everything. he was weak, worthless AND coward, my mistake, won't happen again." Karen said, listing off the additions to this 'Rook' person "if your expecting my have some respect for an assassin you aren't just stupid, your retarded. assassins are the single best example of some one with no business fighting trying to act like they can. the fact you seem to respect this person means your completely worthless to me, stay out of my way or i will cut you down with out a second thought. I'm not going to stay my hand for some one who idealizes weaklings and cowards" she said in the same hateful tone Rias uses before spitting at Fromanzio in utter disdain and turning away from him.

Rias

"oh i like her. can we keep her?" Rias said to Claire after listening to Karen's rant

Fromanzio was ignoring Karen at this point. He actually hadn't heard a word of what she had said. "What are we waiting for? Karen and Rias won't be growing brains in the time we spend waiting so why wait at all?"

Fromanzio was beginning to calm down a bit though. The violence always seemed to help with that. His mind was becoming a bit clearer and he could focus again. His voice lost a bit of inflection and Fromanzio was eager to get moving again.

Bom sighed as Fromanzio and the others returned to their hobby of arguing with one another. Instead of trying to engage either side, he turned to the others.

"Ms. Claire, Ms. Rias? I think we might have another problem on our hands. I don't mean Fromanzio - he'll get sorted out one way or another. I mean, how do we explain the dead Shaman...the good one?"

He glanced at the dead Black Shaman, full of knife wounds.

"We might need to get our story straight. And I don't know if blaming Fromanzio will be enough."

Claire was listening to Fromanzio and Karen go back and forth. The most surprising thing was Rias's lack of involvement; her injuries must be pretty bad if they managed to make her tolerate Fromanzio.

Claire was about to check Rias's wounds, when Mr. Bom made a good point - the assumed good shaman was now dead; and it was in fact their fault. No, it was her fault. Had she not disrupted the man's casting, his mind would not have been corrupted. Then again, they were both trying to use mind control magic, so perhaps neither was particularly good. Any one who used magic that cut through free will... well, they were undeserving of magic. This, of course, may not appease the Trent; which at this point was her greatest worry.

Thinking it through, she resigned herself to the fact that whatever happened; happened. She didn't think anyone had the ability to travel back in time among their group, so there was nothing for it. If the Trent didn't like it; there was nothing her or anyone else could do.

William attacked with his sword, the sword hit something invisible making him unable to hurt the shaman. Suddenly a flash of light blinded him, he was thrown away by the recoil of the shield. He was thrown against a tree. By the time William slowly stood up, the behemoth was gone. He saw that Karen and Fromanzio were fighting, He looked from Rias to Karen and back. William walked over to Claire "oh i like her. can we keep her?" he heard from Rias, he smiled as he looked at Claire. "So how are her wounds?"

"We might need to get our story straight. And I don't know if blaming Fromanzio will be enough." he heard from Bom. He looked at him puzzled, perhaps he was smarter then William had first thought. Still it was in their best interest to tell the truth. If they didn't it could come back to haunt them later. "I don't think that is the best idea. I think we can better tell the truth and risk having to leave the forest. Because if we lie and he finds out he will probably be allot angrier."

Rias

"to be fair though, the Trent didn't tell us what the shaman looked like, just that 'he was that way', granted we found them, and figured it out, but what if there hadn't been a battle going already and the shaman we where after appeared less hostile at the start." Rias said, still laying down"it's unfortunate, but even assuming Fromanzio never came back in time to basically kill that one deranged shaman and set things on fire while the rest of us did all the work, I'm not sure it was avoidable."

Bom listened to the others.

"Alright then. Truthful it is...Now, how do we get back to the trent? Or the general?"

The trent from yesterday appeared out the forest, the concious sophronius bowed to him, he looked around the area.
[HEADING=2]'While I don't know how you did it, and while I question your methods, I appreciate what you have done. Antigonus was a extremist, an idealist and a dictator, hopefully his infernal magic dies with him. I am sorry I could not help, for I can not harm those who haven't directly ended another life.'[/HEADING]

He looked at the group
[HEADING=2]'I must now ask you to leave,I will organise it so a shaman will meet up with you and treat you injured.'[/HEADING]

He then looked directly at Fromanzio [HEADING=2]'do you have anything to say, or have you learned nothing?'[/HEADING]

Rias

'Fromanzio? learn? pff not bloody likely' Rias thought as she got up "i have a question. will i be able to return to this country later? this 'solider' thing is only temporary, after we've completed our over arcing goal I'll be returning to my old life as a performer, and the trope i was, and still am apart of visits these lands, mostly during the Fall Festivals." Rias asked after bowing to the Trent her self. it was a legitimate concern for her, partly cause she liked Esterich more then the other country's she's been to and because her dad would have to know when she returned.

Karen

Karen eyed the Trent, though not in the same way she eyed the Behemoth, this was more curiosity then trying to size it up "seems like a decent enough tree ... person ... thing ... Karen said to William as she fumbled for the words she was looking for "so whats the cowards problem with it?" she asked William, referring to Fromanzio

'While I don't know how you did it, and while I question your methods, I appreciate what you have done....I must now ask you to leave,I will organise it so a shaman will meet up with you and treat you injured.' William bowed his head. "It was the least we could do after the damage we caused, and the healer is much appreciated."

William felt strange, almost like the time he got his power. He looked at his hand when his concentration was broken. "seems like a decent enough tree ... person ... thing ... "Yes he is indeed quite nice." William said turning to Karen. "so whats the cowards problem with it?" William looked back on what had happened, even know he was still amazed at how dumb Fromanzio had been. He whispered to Karen "Well Fromanzio attacked him. He lost and the trent hit him with his fist knocking him out of our sight, he survived somehow though." He looked at Karen. "Do you feel anything strange? Because I have been feeling a bit strange ever since I attacked the shaman's shield." He looked at Karen curious to see if she also felt different. If she didn't it was probably the shield that had caused the strange feeling.

'do you have anything to say, or have you learned nothing?'

Fromanzio coughed a moment and responded. "I would ask you the same question sapling. Everything this forest has thrown at me has been eviscerated, dismembered or a mixture of the two and I have limbs to prove this. I may have underestimated you last time but don't think attacking me again will end as well for you."
