A series of bees rose from the ground around bom and flew at the savage sophronius, while not injuring them, it distracted allowing rias attack to land a direct blow, knocking one(1) of them out while the other fell on his back(2).

The troll(1) turned to look at karen, it retaliated by picking up a boulder and throwing it at the charging karen.

The troll(2) made a noise at if it had stepped on a splinter, it started rubbing its eyes as the ash flew into his face, but this made things worse, as it step backwards it stood on top a savage sophronius (3), killing it. The trolls eyes and cut leg soon started healing.

I am numbering every enemy you encounter of the same type too avoid confusion which one you are attacking, use these numbers as well and if you go to engage a new enemy number them as well.

Fromanzio had been paying attention and had noticed something in the trees. He laughed for a moment before tossing a fire bomb at a nearby treetop he had seen the creature in and then immediately jumping into the trees. He started rushing forward through the tree tops at his max speed in order to avoid being hit by spikes. Jumping over the flaming one and throwing knives at the trees in front of him.

When Fromanzio is jumping at full speed for more than a few seconds, he hits approximately 20 mph. Do keep that in mind.

Karen

Karen dodged right, transformed, spun back left so her back was to the troll(1), and in that spin attacked with both bladed spikes, one aiming to slash open its gut, the other aiming higher, at its neck. as her left arm came around she aimed the blade on it at the right thigh of the troll(1) before hopping to the side to try and avoid getting tagged by a counter of some kind

Rias

Rias turned her attention to the last savage one still standing, spiking it in left foot as a distraction so she could hit it hard with a pillar in the side oh the head

William saw how his attack seemed to have made the troll(2) crush one of his allies. The wounds he had made with his sword healed fast though, he stepped back and focused. The ash began to focus in one place, he then fired it at the troll(2). It was heading for the trolls(2) eyes and airway, he hoped to block his airway. William charged hoping to be able to reach him before it got up. He tried to cut into the trolls(2) head. He hoped to kill the beast by cutting deep into his head. He used his tooth blade, he had began to favor this blade. Even though he hadn't owned it long, it just felt natural to use it.

The spikes just missed fromanzio, he could hear one flying past his ear, has fromanzio tried to catch the thing, it moved too fast and irrationally among the leafs for him to predict its moving and with the covering of the leafs it wasn't even clear what it is.

The hit on the savage sophronius(2) landed and knocked it out.

The troll(1) slammed its hand on the ground and swiped it towards karen.

Karen

Karen did a back flip into a spinning kick with the blade on right foot extended, she hadn't taken the time to gauge the distance properly, but she was aiming for the head/neck of the troll(1)

Rias

Rias was busy taking shots at the spiders with a special arrow she created that was made to splinter on impact into several small blades

Claire was a little shocked at the reactions of the shamans; she didn't expect the grey one to start proclaiming his "genius" - it wasn't a good sign to her at all.

This was why she hated battles like this - she didn't even know who's side she should be on. Seeing no alternative, she opened a second portal beside the grey shaman and shouted through "Okay, he's beaten! Now stop this before it goes any further!". It was a simple idea; and not one she particularly liked. but it did provide information. If he stopped, it would mean she had made a good decision.

If not... well, she'd figure it out one way or another.

The troll (2) saw the ashes coming and closed his eyes and mouth, he also shielded his face with his arms, he lowered his body and charged at William.

The troll (1), the foot hit the cheek of the troll, cutting it down to the opening of the mouth, as the troll stumbled back due to pain, one of his arms hit karen's back sending her flying into a tree.

One of the spiders (1) got hit right in the abdomen, it curled up before dying, this got the attention of spiders (2) and (3) which dashed towards rias.

'Why would I stop know, this is the beginning, while they are now my mere puppets they will soon see the rapture I bring and they will thank me for everything I have done for them' The shaman replied.

"'Why would I stop know, this is the beginning, while they are now my mere puppets they will soon see the rapture I bring and they will thank me for everything I have done for them" the grey mage managed to say before Claire closed the portals.

By this point Claire was angry. This... bastard was controlling people; and by the sound of it so was the black one. The Grey one was, by his own words, treating those under his command as puppets. "A leader exists to protect his followers, not use them as Cannon Fodder!". Her anger however, was directed at another individual as well; herself. She let William best her in a fight over duty, couldn't help against a hydra, couldn't win against a stone mercenary without an insane clown's bomb supply, couldn't warn a town about potential disasters, and let a trent toss said clown halfway across a forest. Well no more.

Claire was beyond angry, so she did what any good, duty driven noble would do: channel that hate at the best target imaginable. Slamming her hands on the ground, she did the best trick she could come up with: picked up the largest chunk of earth her powers would allow, placed it as high above the shaman as she could, then rinsed/repeated.

Gravity was a *****; and she was feeling pretty "gravity like" today.

Rias

Rias put another 'splinter arrow' into spider(2), while for spider (3) she reformed her bow, and used her ground spikes on, due to the 'splinter arrows' nature, she was unable to reclaim the energy used to form them.

while she was waiting for the energy she was taking from Fromanzio's latest fire bombing, she over heard what the shaman had said through the portal, and grew angry "which one said that? Rias asked calmly, as the replacement energy flowed to her

Karen

Karen slammed into a good sized Cedar, which dazed her for a few moments. after she recovered she dropped out of the tree. before, how ever she could return to the troll, four Raptor apes had gathered, and where howling and barking at her, in what only could be interpreted as an effort to intimidate her. Karen laughed at the display, the plate covering her mouth split at the center and opened, revealing 2 rows of pointed teeth, and roared in a way no human could, or should be able to, with her arm blades and back spikes extended and ready for use in her own display of 'intimidation'. she however not being the type to make idle threats, lunged.

with her back spikes she stabbed one in the shoulder, which she then slammed into the tree behind her, another she caught in the neck, that one she jerked back, ripped off her back spike with her hand and slammed into the ground hard as she could, one jumped at her, but that one she grabbed out of mid air by the hind leg, and using the momentum, swung around and bashed the other raptor ape with it's pack mate

Bom was rushing around, looking for the nearest object to start hitting things with. He finally spotted a two handed axe, stuck in a chopping block. He picked it up, tossed off his hat, and ran to intercept troll (2), who was barreling towards William.

As soon as he got close, he started swinging away at the troll, hoping to cleave into the monster with his new found weapon.

Fromanzio dodged the spike and landed in a nearby tree. He stopped for a moment but saw that the nearby trees were starting to get lit as well. The creature would soon be flushed out and Fromanzio figured he would join the battle and help out a little bit. He fell out of the tree and started dashing towards a few spiders, throwing knives at (2) (3) and (4)

'fool, my people aren't cannon fodder as cannon fodder dies, I am a shaman and I will keep that from happening' The grey shaman said just before the pieces of earth started dropping, tough something strange happened a metal disk burst up form the ground near the shaman and intercepted all of the pieces of earth. 'you think my fellow mages would leave me defenceless? Now lets see if this works on enhanced humans' just after shaman said that part of clairs mind started trying to convince her to trust the shaman and to attack her squad members.

Spider (2) died after the splinter arrow and knives left it looking like a pin cushion, spider (3) wriggled a bit while impaled before a knife pieced its brain. Spider (4) was startled enough by the knives hitting for one of the non savage sophronius to flip it on its back. He then shouted 'we appreciate your help, but try to NOT kill our live stock' another shouted 'If you can deal with the shaman the trents should be able to stop the wild life without killing it'

The savage shaman started charging at fromanzios back, tough he was being far from stealthy.

The troll (2) stumbled to the site as bom wailed on the site of the troll with his axe, the trolls head still lowered for the charge allowed William to hum p up and reach it at the end of his charge and plant his sword trough the trolls skull, it keeled over dead.

As karen killed raptor monkeys (1)-(3), raptor monkeys (4)-(10) turned their attention to karen, as well as that the troll (1) wounds were fully healed and it had just spotted karen, this time picking up a 2m branch as a weapon and making his way towards her.

The creature form the trees fell down, it looked like a daddy long legs, tough as tall as a wolf with each leg having 8 joints that turned what ever way it wanted, its feet were in a + shape each toe having 1 claw at the end of it, and its body was covered with spikes. The moment its feet touched the ground they started moving franticly, they were a blur of chaos. Its legs moved so fast it started kicking up a cloud of dust that soon covered it. The creature still seemed focused on it activity to stop people form leaving the area, even tough the other villagers were lying around the boundaries of the village.

this left 8 slightly to badly injured sophronius to fight 3 savage sophronius and 8 domestic spiders and 1 knocked over domestic spider a much fairer fight.

Spoiler: Sensusmancy (a.k.a emotion magic/ the thing the shaman is doing)

It will take a while to turn any non sophronius to become savage as other species don't have genetic anger issues. Tough it will take active concentration and will power to fight the influance for sensusmancy

Rias

Rias didn't need the answer, she already had it "your a disgrace to your own kind!! Rias shouted as she formed a new arrow, this one longer, more needle like and slight twisted so it would spin inflight. her bow changed as well, 'oh this is going to hurt like hell .... she thought as she start to pull back on the, now, much tighter, and harder to pull back, string. Rias had to widen her stance for this shot, and her shoulder was reminding her just how much of a bad idea this was, then let it fly, the force behind the arrow being enough to shatter her bow upon firing.

the arrow was aimed squarely at the grey shamans chest

Spoiler: OOC/arrow info

this arrow is the 'Magnum' or 'Armor Piercing' shot, due to the narrowness of the arrow and the spin on it. it also fly's a lot faster then any of her other arrows.

energy from the bow is lost, energy from the arrow MIGHT be salvageable depend on 'how hard' the target is. ether way this move requires her to be at '100%' for stored energy at her current level.

the Splitter Arrows, are as mentioned above. energy is not recoverable, and they use 2/5 of her current levels 'charge limit', so she can only use 2 back to back right now

The magic of the shaman reached into her mind, trying to change her opinion of who was friend and foe. She could 'feel' the shaman's will clawing at the back of her mind, trying to warp her. None the less, Claire was far to proud and angry to allow such a magic to twist her; at least not without a fight.

Realizing the strange metal shielding would be impossible for her to break with her current method, she changed tactics. Grabbing a handful of small rounded pebbles, she placed them in a portal, and placed its pair above it, allowing the pebbles to fall through in an endless loop, building up speed with each pass, until they reached terminal velocity. It took time, but given the enemy shaman was busy trying to twist her mind; she had all the time she needed. When it was finally ready, she opened a portal in front of her enemy's shield; blasting it with a spray of fast moving rocks.

There was however a small miscalculation; she tried to fight emotion magic with emotion, and in doing so only made the mage's task that much easier. Unbeknownst to Claire, her eyes had taken a much more feral appearance and she let loose a roar of anger. Her NEW target was William's shield and the person wearing it.

Yeah... Magic to control the actions of genetically angry creature... used on an overly proud noble with anger management issues while she's in a bad mood... Sorry Floris; I'd attack Fromanzio but then Claire would probably die a horrible death.

For reference, I'm assuming the magic caused the feral appearance in addition to the feral actions, and I'm interpreting the magic in a way that Claire's perception has been altered to see William as the Grey Shaman. Nuba km - if this is incorrect, let me know and I'll fix it.

Fromanzio saw a darker looking Sophronious charging at him and he couldn't care less at this point who he was killing now, it was more about killing in general, and boy was it fun. Fromanzio backflipped behind the Sophronious and threw several knives directly at his back.

Landing, Fromanzio saw that Rias was attacking the other shaman as well, so he decided to pitch in and threw an explosive bomb so that it would roll under the grey one.

The troll(2) stumbled during his charge, William smiled and waited for the right moment to strike. He saw an opening and quickly ran a few steps forward and jumped reaching the trolls(2) head. He stabbed the troll with his sword ,using the trolls(2) momentum against himself. The sword pierced the trolls(2) skull and the troll fell forward obviously dead. William just managed to free his sword in time as he fell on the ground. He rolled backwards absorbing most of the hit, he quickly stood up again looking around. A loud roar echoed over the battle field the roar sounded very strange. He turned around to face a strange looking Claire, he looked at her eyes and saw how different they were. He lifted his shield up and prepared himself to block her attack. He also prepared himself to use his smoke shield as soon as she got close. He didn't know what happend but he wouldn't let her injure herself or anyone of the party.

Karen

Karen grinned as the troll armed it self, which in her transformed state meant the plate covering her mouth was slightly open "good boy" she said condescendingly, before the rest of the Raptor Apes pack showed up, this drew and annoyed look from Karen, she didn't have time for them now

apes (5), (6) and (7) dropped from the trees, she heard them coming through the branches and impaled 2 on her back spikes, with the last landing on her, trying to claw at her well protected neck, with (8), (9), (10) and Troll (1) charging her.

Karen threw the apes she impaled into they're charging brethren while the ape clawing at her was ripped off her and thrown at the troll, whom was swinging its large stick at her from the side, she had just enough time to shove her ankle blades into the ground for an anchor and brace her self to take the hit.

The shield deflected the arrows. The bomb collided with he shield, tough it was as if time stopped, the explosion was frozen for a second before being absorbed by the shield. A shock wave was then blasted from the shield towards fromanzio.

'I will bring around a world much greater one ruled by sophronius ideals, I am not a disgrace to my race, I am the incarnation of my race!' The grey shaman said filled with confidence 'Get her!' he then yelled, soon the spiked creature shot spikes at rias. One hit her in the shoulder, it seemed to contain sedatives, rias started to feel light headed.

Fromanzio dodged the blast, tough the tree behind him shattered into thousands of splinters, leaving only a tree stump resembling a pencil snapped in two while leaves fell down.

The bodies of raptor monkeys (5) and (6) only slowed down (8)-(10) slightly while raptor monkey (7) splattered over the trolls (1) branch, it was clearly not holding back on its swings, each one realising a heavy blow of wind, the fire leaned back with each swing as if it itself didn't want to be hit by the angry troll(1). The troll(1) was about 2 swings away from karen as raptor monkeys (8)-(10) jumped karen from different angels.

EDIT: The pebbles flew at William, while his shield and armour blocked them, Their collision with the parts of the armour closer to his body left some bruises.

Bom saw the havoc being caused by the Shaman. Rias was hit, Claire was acting strange, and even Fromanzio's Bombs weren't get through. Bom was all set to take his turn, charging at the Shaman with his axe, but he had a sudden spark of inspiration.

He hurried over to the Shaman, but did nothing to attack the shield that stood in between. Instead, he came as close as he could to the shield and focused on his power. If we can't get through the shield he thought, perhaps I can go under it... He remembered how effective his bees were at disrupting the Sophroniuses, and wondered if the same could be achieved again. He inhaled deeply, and let his powers dredge into the earth...
