Hey there, I'm Phantomess. I'm studying a degree in Game Design and Marketing (because I'd like to harm the idiots who seem to think they KNOW how to market a game properly... please don't get me started on my Innovation textbook...) and am in my very early twenties - 22, in fact.

I like to write and when writer's block strikes, I play video games for hours on end. I'm working my way through a gothic horror trilogy right now based on The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr Hyde. I'd love to work for Insomniac one day, though that will require me to move countries. Again.

I ADORE Star Trek (TOS and Reboot) and as you can probably tell, McCoy is my favourite character. I have a rather large and fangirly crush on both Karl Urban and, conversely, Wil Wheaton. I also love Doctor Who, Firefly, Jekyll (the BBC miniseries), various animes and ZP.

Yes, I'm a GIRL. Try not faint (is kidding in her lame, bad-joke manner inherited from watching Serenity too many times).

I'm generally nice and kind, but dislike small children. I tend to break out in running away screaming around them.

Gee wiz, even though I've been on this site for a while now, I never properly introduced myself. Well, thank you NewClassic for the opportunity.

*ahem*

Well as ya'all can see, my name is Assassinator. I discovered this site in the early months of 2008, like a lot of people through Yathzee. I joined up to post 1 comment in one of Yathzee video threads and proceeded to do jack shit. It was, I think, until early 2009 or late 2008 that I discovered the forums and started posting. And here I am now, comfortably rolling towards 3000 posts, and hopefully a Neo badge at 5000. Yes I like to keep my record clean.

A bit about myself. Well, I'm an almost 19 year old guy who lives in a dead, rural village in Holland, and who really wants to leave this country. I finished high school, tried college, failed twice and I work in a supermarket now to save up for that little dream. Everyone needs dreams, right?

Gaming and media-wise, I'm pretty much a Rennaisance man. I love gaming in general: video games, card games, board games, sports, you name it. Sadly I only have the opportunity to play video games here, since there aren't any interesting sports and no fellow nerds to play board or card games with. I'm also quite the movie fan, although I don't watch nearly as much films as I'd like to. I dig a lot, like with games, from Terminator to chick flicks. It's the same with books and music, I don't nearly get exposure to anything as much as I'd like. I'm quite happy to say though, that I've finally been getting my sci-fi fix after barely watching any for ages. Farscape, Doctor Who, Firefly, I love it all.

In the few months that I've been an active part of this community, the Escapist has become my new virtual home *cough* addiction *cough* and it doesn't look like I'm leaving any time soon. *raises glass* To many wonderful times!

I'm latenightapplepie, I've been here a while lurking mostly. Secretly, I'm proud of being one of the older-ish members (yeah, I'm not that old) even if I haven't truly joined the community yet and therefore people probably don't know who the hell I am.

I post mostly in Off-topic Discussion and Gaming Discussion and occasionally chat a little in the Gay-mers group. Also, I have a serious problem with achievements, so I've joined the Achievement Helpers Group.

I only play my 360 these days, but I'm online and most of the time I'm up for some Halo 3 or GTA IV multiplayer. Feel free to add me. My gamertag is DetroitHands. Just promise you'll forgive my inferior Australian internet connection.

My name is popdafoo. I made that name a very long time ago when I was first making a YouTube account (that has since been deleted... don't go looking for me) and I just found it easy to type.

On the forums I usually visit, I'm either hated or unknown, so I'd like to stay unknown here. You may recognize me by my crazy awesome avatars. Or by the fact that I've never dealt with moderator wrath.

I would rather no one know who I am... I'm just a lurker around these forums with a hell of a lot of posts.
