Goodbye Hey Arnold. You were everything to me, and as I continue to age, I'll miss you deeply. It seems to me, you lived your life, like a candle in the wind. Never fading with the sunset, when the rain set in... AND YOUR FOOTSTEPS WILL ALWAYS FALL HERE, AMONG ENGLAND'S GREENEST HIIIILLLLLSSS...

Your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will...
If I recall correctly, they've recently made new Hey Arnold episodes. Or maybe those were just the 'new' one's they only started broadcasting here ages after they were actually made, as always happens here in Holland.

I'll just light a crapload of candles, or a really big one, for the old Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Fox Kids. I miss you Courage the Cowardly Dog, Eek the Cat, The Tick, Earthworm Jim, Ed, Edd and Eddy, The Powerpuff Girls, The Samurai Pizza Cats and all the others out there.

A special RIP goes out to Invader Zim, a short glimmer of hope in these dark days, but you were snuffed out like you were nothing before I could watch more than one fantastic episode. At least I found a torrent to your glory in a dark corner of the internet, and I can now truly enjoy you.

So many shows. Every time I visit Cartoon Network now and then, My childhood dies a little more. They have live action shows. LIVE ACTION! le-sigh...

I want to put to rest: Cow and Chicken, Megas XLR, Invader Zim, Angry Beavers, Ed Edd & Eddy (It died a while ago, they just haven't realized it yet), Samurai Jack, Catdog, Johnny Bravo, and The entirety of Toonami.

I remember waking up at 5am each and every day just to watch Pokemon. I would wake up just as early on Saturdays to get a head start on the entire 5 hours long (or so) line up. I mentioned the main shows I remember, not counting Loony Toons or the like that were probably already mentioned.

Wait a minute... This means my childhood is officially dead... Damn you OP!

So many great memories. This was my favorite show as a kid, hands down, as well as:

Dexter's Laboratory, 1996-2003
Pinky and The Brain, 1995-1999
Ed Edd and Eddy, 1999-2004
Cow and Chicken, 1997-1999
The reruns of old Loony Tunes
The Powerpuff Girls, 1998-2002

And other, less memorable shows from Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon produced in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Never forget.

*Walks slowly down the isle in uniform, carrying a rifle*
*Holds rifle in one hand and salutes slowly*
*Turns and speaks to the audience*

I remember these cartoons...... Many of them deserved many more days under their belt...... Their demise was unjust, and they deserve the highest honor possible. I hereby pledge to guard this mass grave, and add some to the list.

*Walks up and chisels in several lines*

Code:
Catdog
Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy
Dexter's Laboratory
Johnny Bravo
Cow & Chicken
Rugrats
Thou shalt be missed....

Oh, so many good cartoons. Essentially any of the Cartoon Cartoons, esp. the ones made by Craig McCraken (except KND...damn, what an annoying show), Hey Arnold!, Catdog, Rugrats, Invader Zim, Looney Toons, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Hanna-Barbera cartoons....

So many childhood memories, scrapped for crap like Chowder and Spongebob. Although Spongebob does have its moments...
