Cartoon Network was the basis of my childhood. But what they did to it, someone should mercy kill this abomination. It has suffered enough.

I hate that they took all the good shows down and gave us shit. Pretty much as soon as they put up real shows, and started to stop showing ed, edd, and eddy, I knew it was time to move on. Though I still enjoy some of adult swim.

I hate all kids channels nowadays as all they make are these horrible made-for-kids sitcoms with "popstars" in them.

The great time of cartoons has passed. The horrific armies of live action crap, led by the great betrayers, who were once great cartoons who fell into poor quality and bad plot, have swept through, burning and destroying all in their wake. Some have retreated to the reruns of Avatar and Zim, in hopes that The Legend of Korra (A new show based on Avatar and made by the same team) will save them from the destruction. Others retreated to our few remaining good running cartoons like Adventure Time. All we can do is survive and pass our traditions unto our children. We must teach them. Tell them important things, such as the difference between the older, better SpongBob episodes and newer, awful SpongBob episodes, in hopes that they will go on to reestablish our glory.

I believe they used to have a show given a 4AM called W.I.T.C.H. that I liked and would watch. I'm pretty sure they don't have it on anymore. I don't watch Cartoon Network at all. I only watch Adult Swim, and lately shows I love like Family Guy haven't been releasing new episodes, so...Yeah, I don't really go there at all anymore. Now I watch most of my anime online, but if it's an anime that seems interesting, I'll check it out on TV.

Whooooa Someone else knows about that show? Cool =D
I had to admit, it did seem to have a decent story tied to it. It's a shame because it could have been great

They got Dragon Ball Z Kai (The Kai part is meaningless. It's the same thing) on one of those other Nickolodeon channels (I don't know the specific name for it).

They've replaced their former great line-up with really badly written crap to be honest, so many inane excuses for cartoons, reality shows, and other products that are better off in a bonfire then being aired.

All these modern remakes of old classics though is the last straw- seriously there's a Scooby Doo remake on there, how about showing some entertaining programes instead of your crap of the week [both writing and production time]

Quality has suffered so much over the last 6 years- animation that could be outdone by Yahtzees video animator is now the norm, people need to fired and the execs need to be handed a bucket and mop, they've proved their total disconnection with decent entertainment, so time to replace them

Kai just takes all of the filler out of it, so Goku is on Namek fighting Frieza by like, episode 50, instead of 180. xD

Oh, and Mr. Popo is blue now and the words "Dead" "Death" "Bring Back To Life" and the like, are taboo.

While it will never get back to the Golden Age of Cartoonetwork, (Samurai Jack, Megas XLR, Toonami) Adventure Time is actually pretty good. A few days ago I fell upon MAD and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't completely horrible.

Well I miss it too, and I understand how they've ruined it (Haven't sat down to actually watch a show when I wasn't killing time), but some of the shows MAY HAVE HAD (don't flame meh!) actors who couldn't continue...acting. I understand that that's not always the case, but maybe one or two shows that happened to. I never cared for Dragonball Z on Toonami, but I watched Bobobo (BOBOBO FTW!), One Piece, Naruto, and other stuff.

Then there's Adult Swim. Ho-ho now THAT'S something I can talk about. So many shows I liked on there that they had to remove some of them. For one: Super Jail/Superjail(However you spell it)--An awesome show that went bye-bye after 10 15-minute episodes! They released it on DVD but I think they could've gone farther. Robot Chicken has made me laugh so hard I cry and some of the other older shows caught my attention as well. FMA for one, Bleach, even though I never got into either, Venture Bros. is tolerable but lacking.

Yeah I loved Cartoon Network with some of the awesomest shows ever, which are now attached to my brain, like PPG, Johnny Bravo, the old Scooby-Doo (seriously I never noticed 'til recently that they had canned laughter in the background), the Looney Tunes marathons which preferably included Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd, Wil E. Coyote, and Bugs Bunny. Any that contained those guys were my favorites. Here's another few little pieces of memory candy for you all that watched about 5-7 years ago: Miguzi. Code Lyoko.

Good night, everybody!

Edit: Oh yes and here's an easter egg for you. Watch the Christmas special of Ben 10. If you are a Naruto fan and know everything about early episodes then you'll find a little...surprise near the end. (Hint: Konahamaru ;P)
