Seems to be ever since they took violent humor out of CN all there shows started sucking.
They took violent humor out of everything.

I grew up with that stuff and I turned out okay.

Now with all this non-violent "safe for children" bullshit, ITS BORING

Two things that really pissed me off:

1) They cancelled Teen Titans on a horrendous cliffhanger so they could put Robin in a Batman cartoon. The two aren't mutually exclusive, especially since the one in the Batman cartoon was a different Robin! (Although they never "officially" said anything, it's implied that the TT one was Dick Grayson and I'm pretty sure it's canon that the Batman one is Tim Drake.)

2) They stopped showing any of the good shows on Toonami, then eventually cancelled it entirely. If they had continued playing anything good on it, then they wouldn't have needed to cancel it.

Yea they canceled "Batman: Brave and the Bold"
And now all they have is a bunch of shitty reality shows.

FUCK YOU CARTOON NETWORK
I still don't know why they did that. Batman: Brave and the Bold" was one of THE best cartoons I've ever seen. Megas XLR too. Good cartoons never seem to last on the Cartoon Network.

The Grim Adventures Billy and Mandy; a show that makes me miss shows like Spongebob Squarepants and The Fairly Odd Parents.
Fairly Odd Parents was one of my all time favourites :D

I don't think Cartoon Network is that bad. Sure they killed off some great shows, but they gave us new ones that are still good. Adventure Time, Flapjack, and Regular show are all good. But the live-action will be unforgiven. Thankfully, it's slowly dying.

I used to watch Cartoon Network all the time. I loved me some Ed Edd and Eddy, and Dexter's Laboratory was always great. Toonami was also always a treat, the insanity that was Bo Bo Bo Bo BoBoBo was a god send at the time. Luckily Cartoon Network's downturn pretty much happened about the same time I stopped regularly watching cartoons in general, or maybe its what caused me to stop....

Anyway, these days when I flip to that channel I just get a little sick, nothing compared to the shows I mentioned above, even today when I watch them.

One word: "Bang."

Those who know their Cowboy Bebop will know what I mean.

The actor who voiced TOM also voiced Spike Spiegel in the English dub of Cowboy Bebop. "Bang" is the last word of both TOM and Spike. In short: CN sucks now because they cancelled Toonami.

cn is a fail channel now. most cartoons are either idiotic or nonsensical (fyi, i hated ren and stimpy and all it's knock-offs, this is the same kind of garbage, only less funny) or not even cartoons at all.

also, since disney channel replaced fox kids/jetix (WHY???? DEAR GOD, WHY?? IT'S HORRIBLE!!!) there are no cartoon channels i could turn to for some good laughs/nostalgia/recommendation for today's kids.i will never ever let my future kid watch disney channel unless they clean up their schedule (nick, boomerang etc. are all on special cable and extra cost)

american animation is going through another dark age right now, hopefully it'll pick back up, otherwise i see a bleak future for it.

I used to love cartoon network when they had actual good shows.
I remember shows such as:
Dexter's Laboratory
Johny Bravo
Courage the Cowardly Dog

And you never see any of those anymore, they replaced all the good and original shows with crap like 'my Gym Partners a Monkey' and 'George Lucas' Money Printer #54'.

I believe they used to have a show given a 4AM called W.I.T.C.H. that I liked and would watch. I'm pretty sure they don't have it on anymore. I don't watch Cartoon Network at all. I only watch Adult Swim, and lately shows I love like Family Guy haven't been releasing new episodes, so...Yeah, I don't really go there at all anymore. Now I watch most of my anime online, but if it's an anime that seems interesting, I'll check it out on TV.
