I've always hated Hanna-Barbara ever since I was young. The animation sucks, all the shows were the same, all the jokes were the same, they weren't funny, and all their action shows were boring as hell...and the same.

To tell you the truth, I've watched the first couple of episodes of Pokemon and I still enjoy them just a little bit, but they are stupid. However, the movies weren't the same. I recently re-watched the first three, since those are the ones I grew up.on The first one was stupid, the second one was more boring than I remembered (I remember really liking that one.) But, I actually still enjoyed the third one. There were some pretty decent action, and some touching moments.

As for shows that are a lot better than I remembered, I never realized how funny Loony Toons were until recently. I was never a big Loony Toons fan when I was little, but I watched them recently and I thought they were hilarious, maybe because I barely see that sort of stuff anymore. The new show ruined it, though.

Other than that, I can't really recall anything else.

Knight Rider. I went back and watched a few of the early episodes; it was hard to sit through.

The old Scooby doo (*sigh, it used to be one of my favourites)

The jetsons and The Flinstones......dunno why, I can't seem to enjoy them anymore.....It just seems so boring to me now

Sometimes I feel disappointed about them now.....I wanna be able to enjoy them like I used to. It really saddens me :(

Dragon Ball Z.

When I was younger, I was happy watching Goku charge a spirit bomb for 5 episodes and then miss.
I recently went back to watch a few episodes and got bored easily.
God, fucking this. All those SUPER-long anime series are just too much for me anymore. It's the same reason I quit Naruto after a awhile, and why I can't bring myself to even START Bleach.

Power Rangers... that's all I'm gonna say
Tbh I used to absolutely love power rangers as a great action show when I was a kid.
I watched some episodes again lately, and I have to say they are AMAZING.
The shitty acting, the absolutely god-awful script, the stiff and abysmal fight scenes.
I cannot watch more than one or two episodes of it at a time because I cannot take laughing that much.
Action tv series? not so much
Comedy? Best I've seen in ages.

Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders.

I even thought it was a bit cheesy at the time, but I loved it because the 90s were a rather fantasy-starved era (at least from what I saw). I don't even need to watch it again, I can just remember how cheesy it was and shudder.

The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest. Back as a kid I would watch it for the amazing CGI but now it look awful.
I only watched it for the Theme. By God its still awesome!

OT: Power Rangers. Awesome when younger, but so so bad now.

Pokemon. I used to contend that the first series, at least, was good...

No. No, it wasn't. It was always total crap.
I disagree, I can still at least tolerate the first season. Maybe my nostalgia goggles are thicker...

In anycase, Pokemon was my answer as well.

Tried going back to Thundercats and original He-Man. Storyline and animation doesn't bother me, but voice-acting annoyed me some, I don't know why. He-Man was still mostly tolerable, Thundercats had a lot more annoying moments.
Ninja'd. I can still find He-Man amusing but Thundercats is just awful. I also thought the "new" He-Man was pretty good.

Transformers is a great example of how parents love their children, warts and all. No, I had nothing to do with the making of the show, I was maybe thirteen at the time. It's just the expression closest to fitting. I feel like I watched it grow up in reverse: I became an adult and it's still a kid show. Having said that, I still enjoy it.

Don't start Bleach. It's Dragonball only prettier. Why waste your time on something so mediocre when you can have Cowboy Bebop, Gurren Lagann, and a hundred other better shows?
