It was about time they stuck with a artstyle. Ok I can get they were experimenting but I just found it annoying each shorts was a different style as if they still indecisive about it. Either way, all of the artstyle were better than the very first one, hated that one.

As for the show itself, yeah it's another nostalgia one akin to Regular Show that the 80's and 90's will get. Still I hoped it will be successful and better than the Might Sword one. I also really hoping Infinity Train will get the greenlight too!

I don't count things like Teen Titans Go, or Thundercats 2011, or Young Justice or Star Wars Clone Wars 2008 becuase those aren't original programming.


But of course the only good one out of those 4 the only good ones was Thundercats 2011 and Young Justice.

Nothing about Ben 10 had Boring Character designs. If anything it took big inspiration of the charcater designs of the DC Animated Cartoon Series and Anime.

I prefer the Alien Force/Ultimate Alien version of Ben 10 because the show matured and Ben certainly Matured. I can never watch the original Ben 10 because 10 year old Ben is just a fuckin asshole, he's like the American version of this Naruto:

Some of them are bad, but I credit some of them for making me watch TV cartoons again. I don't think any of them are ugly, mostly because I've seen uglier shows in Adult Swim, but maybe this is like comparing how bad One More Day is to Spider Man 3.

I kind of like the more "slice-of-life" direction the cartoons are going, I do miss shows where it's mostly action though.

You can blame executives for greenlighting the shows, but aren't the kids who grew up watching those starting to make their own cartoons? Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls) and Rebecca Sugar (Steven Universe) were born in the late 80s, and probably grew up watching some of those. Maybe in few more years we'll see more people whose cartoons are influenced by those. If not then maybe your tastes stayed the same while the world has changed.

A mix really. Young Justice was great and Tumblr love it but for different reasons than mine. Things like Steve Universe pander to the SJW demographic and I can't stand it, though I recognize there's a seed of a great show there that unfortunately never sprouted.

A mix really. Young Justice was great and Tumblr love it but for different reasons than mine. Things like Steve Universe pander to the SJW demographic and I can't stand it, though I recognize there's a seed of a great show there that unfortunately never sprouted.

I usually never notice these things until they're pointed out, so I didn't notice any pandering from the show. Similarly, I recall that after I watched some episodes of the PPG reboot SJWs made a stink about one episode, at the time I think I didn't see what the problem was until it's pointed out. I think that's a tiny part of why I consider Steven Universe a good show.

I was still a kid back when Camp Lazlow was airing and even than I didn't like it, it was boring, the premise was boring and the characters were regurgitations of characters I already know. And yes it had the creator of Rocko's Modern Life but no of the edge and zanyness.

Flapjack and Chowder I just did not care for it and thier art style did not help which is saying something because I watched Ahh Real Monsters and Rugrats.

I am unimpressed with Regular Show nor do I think its the worse show ever.

Adventure Time I am sorry but its art style just does not appeal to me. And what the fuck is going on with Steven Universe and the stripper dances?!
