I've watched the Extra Credit, it is quite good and finds a nice middle ground between people like me and the ones that will love this game for its themes.
Why isn't Team Fortress 2 art? I don't want to start another rant, so I won't. Games like TF2, CoD, and Halo all have a place in gaming.
Lastly, it's nice to see somebody else can both respect and disagree with my opinion. Thanks.
Oh, I didn't mean it like that, TF2 is certainly "art" in it's own right, CoD and Halo to. It's just that, you know, those games aren't really
trying, ya know? Nothing wrong with that, not every game needs to try to be the "Mona Lisa" of gaming, but you get the idea.
I'm under the belief that there's no "Art" and "Not Art", just "Good Art" and "Bad Art". While TF2, CoD, Halo, etc... aren't bad games by any means, they're not exactly the most profound or "artistic" kinds of games out there. Not "bad art", but then again they're not trying to be, but whatever.
BUT ANYWAY, back on topic, it's fine if you are not interested in this game, but hopefully you understand why other people would be. Like I said, I trust Atlus to handle the subject maturely, and from what I have played of Persona 3: FES and Demons' Souls, they're not bad at making a game either
