The mention of Jacen Solo above brought to mind the wonderfully cathartic death my most hated EU villain, Viqi Shesh. Yes, even more hated than Darth Caedus.

She's not a Sith or a rogue Jedi. She's a politician who managed to indirectly cause the death and betrayal of more good people than most Sith ever did in their lifetimes, with her crowning moment of vileness probably being surgically altering an orphan to strongly resemble Han and Leia's very recently dead son. All just to distract and mess with them while she tries to kidnap Luke's infant son from them to be ritually sacrificed by her masters. I could go on.

Bright side, the last book she's in made her suffer like she never had before in her rich pampered princess life before ending it.

-

Second happiest was probably Colonel Volgin in Metal Gear Solid 3. The series has lots of extremely sympathetic villains. He's not one of them, unless getting a hard-on by torturing people counts as a disability.

Not a death but I thought the beatdown Jotaro gave to Steely Dan was nothing short of beautiful.

OH! That jackass final boss from the Pirates movies.

This one:
Even though watching it again, these movies don't really hold up. Maybe the first one does?
I'm the only one that actually likes the sequal movies.....except the 4th movie of course.

What made the movies special was this one character:

He is also why I think we don't need make up anymore.

Sasuke from Naruto! No, wait...he's still breathing. Damn.

Fine. Obito from Naruto. That guy is basically the adult version of Sasuke--as in, he's a brat little kid who never grew up. He let the death of ONE person drive him to do unspeakable things. How many thousands of people are dead because of his actions? Because nearly every death in the series, from random background ninja to main characters, can be traced back to him. Sure, they tried to make his death all heroic and redeeming like Nagato's, but it just doesn't work. That guy is soaked in so much blood that Rin should want nothing to do with him in the afterlife.
Read this, it will make you feel better. <url=https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5736374/1/Connecting_the_Dots>Connecting the Dots

Sasuke doesn't die in this crossover fanfic, though he gets his ass handed to him physically and verbally in certain chapters for 2/3rds of the story. And, man is it satisfying.

If I could have done it, I would have absolutely loved it if I could have killed Isabela in Dragon Age 2. Is there a way to kill her? I didn't like a single character in that game (well, Hawke's sister was alright) but nobody in DA2 was likable to me but out of everybody Isabela just got on my nerves worse than any of the others. I would have been happy to kill her but as it stands, I'm still bitter about her running away from me.

The final 20 or so minutes of Punisher: War Zone. I love that movie and most kills are pretty great but the section at the end was great.

Rosh fucking Penin from Star Wars: Jedi Academy: He's like an unholy amalgamation of prequel Anakin and Wesley Crusher. I hated everything about him, from his grating voice to his constant pathetic attempts at one-upmanship to his whiny bitching. Taking the dark side path was never easier in a Star Wars game. I practically jumped at the chance to skewer him like a shish kebab.

Not sure... I'm torn...

Alec Trevelyan from Goldeneye. Or possibly everytime Weyoun bit the bullet in DS9 ... his final death at the hands of Garak was especially pleasing... but my favourite was Worf going ninja on his arse...

That being said, it's not as though I hated the character ... more so the actor did such a good job of making us feel good about him getting killed. Couple thay with the fact that he dies repeatedly it's like the writers were saying; "C'mon ... let's have one archvillain that is basically a mass produced line of pinatas, it'll be fun!"

Snails from the Dungeons and Dragons movie. My god his character was so eye peelingly annoying. I cheered loudly in the theater when he died.

Also, Eddie Poole, James Gandolfini's character from the Nick Cage movie "8mm". My god this character, such a total shitbag. They take there time, letting you slowly come to loath all of the people in this movie that are involved in the events of the crime, and it felt so good....SO GOOD, when Nick loses his shit, and beats him to death with the butt of his pistol, then sets his ass on fire, covered in the pornography that he helped to peddle, at the expense of the young women involved in it. Even the two kingpins of the girl's murder, their deaths felt less cathartic than this one. Perhaps it's because it was the first kill, so there was more initial emotional release, but damn it was so satisfying to watch him beat the living fuck out of him. No mercy, no pity, nothing. What makes it even better, is that at first, he is reluctant to do it, and he walks away. You think he's just going to leave him there, but no, he calls the girl's mother, tells her the truth about what happened to her daughter, and asks for permission to make them pay for what they did. The mother gives it, in a grief stricken scene, and now, with the mother's blessing, proceeds to pummel his brains in with the gun butt, until his entire hand and forearm are covered in blood and brain matter. I normally don't go in for such violence, but the way it was done in this movie, just great.

The two guys to the left and right of the nobleman in Mereen. One slice! And then
Ramsay got eaten by his own dogs, who he was sure were so loyal after he hadn't fed them for a week. Sucks about Wun Wun. He was the friendly giant.

There's only one I can think of the the moment:

The death of Frank Fontaine, not just because he's a selfish, despicable asshole, but especially after what he did in Burial at Sea.
THAT'S FOR ELIZABETH, YOU SONOFABITCH!

I can't begin to describe the wide grin I had on my face as Laurel Lance died. I didn't even hear her final words because I started laughing so loudly. I hated her character since season 1, and becoming Black Canary unfortunately did nothing for her. I'm glad she's dead and gone.
Frida Waterfall, member of the obnoxiously annoying Eco-Feminist Movement. She is the character I hate the most in all of Futurama and the Dark One became my hero when he put an end to her pathetic life.
The first time I played the single player I killed Hannah. The reason I did so, as I remember it, is because Irish had a family and Hannah (As far as I knew) didn't, but every single one of the characters in the game annoyed the crap out of me. So much so that I played the game again and killed Irish. And I'm going to do it again so that I can kill Pac. I hated all of them. They can all burn in hell!

And finally, TFS Plays Drunk Souls 3. Every boss, unique enemy, and player death was just great. Especially while watching Lani, Kirran, and Grant get plastered. I was sort of hopping for a Level 1 Drunkdom Hearts playthrough, but oh well.

Alex Krycek. Never a compelling villain; just a smug little shite who managed to hang around for 7 whole damn seasons of The X Files. That bullet to the head was glorious.

Ahhhh... is it too late to change my choices? Totally! And the more face time the Skin-man gets the better. Sure, Krycek murdered Mulder's dad and instrumental in killing Scully's sister, but I felt that it wasn't merely a total scumbag biting the bullet... it felt like he died by the hands of the one who had the most satisfying motives and conclusion to do it. It was like; "You know what? Going rogue... the game is rigged, so I'm not going to play it." Skinner needed that healthy dose of 'fuck the rules'.

Now if only you didn't have the utterly stupid, pointless, insulting star child arc that came before and immediately afterwards...

Spoilers for Death Note and Hellsing I suppose.

Light kicking the bucket was SO satisfying in the manga. That's what the whole series has built towards, and he is brought down, made to face his own mortality, and dies crying. The anime ruined it though.

As for Hellsing, finally seeing Major die was satisfying since it had been built towards nicely too. Although it feels like... I dunno, not a victory? He got what he wanted and dies believing he won.

In a non-villain deaths, Anderson in Hellsing. His death is really satisfying for me and while I wasn't rooting for him to die, considering he was my favourite character, the way things ended felt like a satisfying story.

Well, let me add another one.

Lelouch's death at the end of Code Geass was perfect. Not because I hated his character, but because I liked him. I wanted him to succeed and his death was the final part of his plan. By dying he helped to make the world a better place for everyone. The fact that Suzakku was the one to kill him and that he met his death with a smile only made it better. I actually think Code Geass has one of the few perfect endings.

Oh, so one of those traitors finally got it, huh? While I don't follow the show or series at all (too dark and depressing for my liking), I am aware of the "truth" behind some of the events. And when I found out about it, I could not wait for them to start biting the dust, mainly because of the the exact reasons you listed.
Yep. Wish it had been the Armored Titan, but at least one of those assholes got what they deserve.

I can understand that. I didn't feel the same, but I think a large part of that is how mishandled the end of the story started to get. Especially the bait and switch Final Boss. Also, that I actually like Kakashi and that makes it hard to really enjoy his friend getting his comeuppance.

That was crazy emotional.

Dante being eaten by Gluttony. The only bad thing about it, is that you don't get see it happened, but her freaking out as Gluttony is about to attack is icing on the cake.

<spoiler=Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood/Original Manga> After seeing Envy being the Karma Houdini in the first adaption, it was satisfying seeing him be punished. The viewer is expected to pity him on some level, but I felt nothing and was slightly amused that he killed himself out humiliation and seeing how strong humanity can be. Envy is indeed a deadly emotion and sin.
FMA did have some great villain deaths. Envy's in Brotherhood was especially satisfying. Just how much Mustang made him suffer. Also, I love that Mustang and Lust's voice actors in English are married. That moment of "Looks like I can get you on your knees" actually becomes much funnier.

That was the entire point. And even then he didn't win because Alucard came back 30 years later, so The Major's victory became null and void. It was satisfying when Zorin kicked the bucket, not so much Rip Van Winkle. It was the way she died more than anything else really.
