Character That Everyone But You Hates?

I dont see why people think he is so bad!

I know that people aimed a lot of their hate at the fact that Raiden wasn't Snake, and that he took up a majority of the game. I don't personally hate him at all, I think he was a fun character, but he isn't Snake, which I'm sure took a lot from the game for a lot of people

If by "not hate" you mean "not want to die in a volcano," then Yoshida Kazumi from Shakugan no Shana. 90% of the people who watch that show wants her to die (and I'm pretty sure she was supposed to be a sympathetic character too)

I don't understand why people hated her either.

On a side note, me and my mother find Jar Jar hilarious. He turns three quarters to the right instead of one quarter to the left! How can you hate a quirk like that?

Okay, this has been somewhat nagging me.
Recently, I rewatched Dexter season 2. And I really did enjoy it, so much I went on the internet and looked up the show just to see how it did with the masses. And the first thing I noticed was that one of my favorite characters (Lila) was hated by everyone else.

Have you ever had this happen to you? Like, someone you just particularly like in the story that apparently everyone else hates?

If so, post and tell us the example(s).

Not only did I love Lila, but I love all the most hated character in Dexter the most.

My favorites are Doakes, Deb, and LaGuerta.

There are people who LIKE Crappy Doo? The inside joke of television? One of the most annoying characters ever conceiv...crapped out? with the hair-braned idea that having a new character equals better ratings? The character who is single handedly blamed for the show's demise? The character whose name is now a pop culture term for bad characters introduced by executives who think having a new character means more ratings?

The only disappointment in this movie were the special effects and the fact that Crappy Doo didn't die of dysentery.

I think people just didn't notice Baird that much because he's so... normal. In comparison to Cole Train he's not exactly that noticeable.
I liked him, he added a healthy dose of sanity Delta needed.

There is not one character that everyone hates that I don't hate, because it is a statistical impossibility. There will always be at least one person who agrees with my viewpoint. Remember kids, you are not a delicate unique snowflake.

Greatest show ever. Took forever to get it here in the states, tho.
OT: Starscream in Transformers. Everyone I know hates him, but I think that, after so many failed attempts to usurp control, Megatron doesn't just slaughter him, he must be incredibly valuable some how.

Chris Redfield. Apparently everyone thought he was a douche or bland or something, and a whole bunch of people where like "LEONZ BETTER REDFIELD IS G4Y SHOOBUDUDOOBITYdick", but I viewed him as a Chuck Norrisesque character. I mean seriously, he moves a 3-4 ton boulder.... by punching it.
