Characters everyone seems to hate

Not video games related, but why does everyone hate Sakura from Naruto? I think she's awesome, although the others neer let her do anything interesting for fear of making their story seem slightly less melodramatic. Just thought I'd put that one out there.

And for the people chatting about Squall, I agree. What's wrong with a some sarcastic remarks and few too many belts? He's certainly not emo, just fed up with everyone's bullshit.

Second. Although the first L, Ryuzaki, was better.

Light was hated? At the end when he went completely batshit crazy, yeah, but that was the intended reaction. Up until then, I and everyone I know thought he was an extremely likable character. And sorry for this, but because Death Note is my favorite thing ever, I'm about to become very nitpicky. The first L was not Ryuzaki, it was L. Ryuzaki was an alias used for hiding the fact that he was L from anyone that could have had the area bugged. The first L was just L. Light was the second L in name only. L's true successor was Near. I get very very nitpicky over anything to do with Death Note, especially L, who in my opinion is the greatest character ever (does my name make any more sense now?).

I completely agree. The people who actually bothered to play the game, as opposed to simply looking at a picture of a bishonen in a weird bodysuit and scream "Lol, fag!" will know that

I know Ryuzaki wasn't his real name, but everyone in the task force, Light included, knew him as Ryuzaki, so that's just how I think of him.

Some people say that she improved a lot later in the series. I wouldn't know, because every time she shows up I try to pretend she doesn't exist due to fear of having to listen to her scream more. God, she's annoying.

Beats the whole -dattebayo sentance ending though; when watching the old series that still annoys the hell out of me. Also I don't mind sakura doing that but naruto with his "I will bring sasuke back-dattebayo" crap annoys me. Then again I don't understand why Gaara has such a cult following-yes, yes he has a sad backstory and hes a muderous bastard (fun to watch) but cute? Really? what?

Well, she was quite like that before she cut her hair... I dunno, I guess I never really noticed it. I think that was probably why she was put in, she starts off as a schoolgirl and you watch as she gets stronger as a personality and a ninja throughout the series.
Either way, she's way less annoying than Naruto and less smug than Sasuke so she remains my favourite from the series. Her, Shika and Kiba.

And to the guy chatting about Gaara, he probably has the best story and is a pretty cool character but I don't like him. Oh, and Rock Lee is the worst character from anything ever except maybe Tidus.
