Ezio Auditore. He really is yummy. And his amazing assassin skills make him even more attractive, as well as his sexy Italian accent. My ideal man. *droooooooool*

These are characters you have a bit of an obsession with, or at least like them way too much.
I have two:

Garrus Vakarian from the Mass Effect series. I have an extreme bromance with Garrus. A little too extreme. I would seriously take Garrus over my romance option (Jack). I gotta have my bro.
The Second:

Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4. My obsession with Naoto is well documented. I'd seriously marry her given the chance.

So, does anyone else like a character a little too much? Could be a romance option, NPC, etc.
buck from halo 3 odst. because he's nathan fillion.

Honestly, she could ask me to stab myself and I'd probably do it. I...can't...refuse...that...look...and...voice.
A-ha, aha, aha....

Yeah. I say no more.

Tali, in a parental, protective kind of way. Her face is hidden, but she still manages puppy-dog eyes with her voice at times. I hear Darth Tr-em, Kreia(sp?) in my head saying "She'll be stronger if you let face her own problems..." yet still I'm compelled to make her smile, even though I'll never see it.

This feeling creeps me out to no end.
Merrill in DA2 pulls the same act. Except she pleads with big, round puppy dog eyes that you can see. Honestly, she could ask me to stab myself and I'd probably do it. I...can't...refuse...that...look...and...voice.

For me in DA2? Isebela all the way. Big tits and and an aggressive sexuality. Timid, whimsical girls are boring. I bet they seem like fun till you've dated one in real life. I'll take the batshit crazy ones any day. Sex is so much more intense when you're afraid of the next thing that's gonna happen.

As soon as I saw the title I had a pretty good idea of who started the thread :D

OT: Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4 and Aigis/Aegis from Persona 3.

Rise: The game sets her up as an idol with wildly different suggestions as to her personality, then when you finally meet her she's... nice. Not "boring" nice, she's just really fun to be around in the game. Her subplot (and her philosophically interesting conclusion[footnote]
When was the last time you heard a character in a JRPG state "There is no real me," without it meaning something negative?
[/footnote]) is also the one that moved me the most in the game, so that might have something to do with it. My favorite character in a game full of fantastic characters.

Aigis/Aegis: Yeah, she's a robot and a bit of an unstoppable killing machine. That's not a spoiler or anything, and it's not the only reason I like her, but it's part of what makes her such an interesting character. In order for her to have a Persona she must be sentient, and I love that they managed to completely dodge the 'Pinocchio' cliches that often pop up in this kind of story. To fully explain what I mean, I'm going to have to throw a spoiler tag here.

At the very end, it became clear to me that she was essentially a human being from the start. She was unemotional and kind of weird at first, but that was mostly because living with people and sharing their lives was so new to her. Over the course of the game, she becomes more and more acclimated to having a normal life, and is finally rehabilitated.

Once you realize this, the last conversation becomes even more heartbreaking. She knows what's happening to you, and has accepted it. When she starts talking about how much she likes being with you, she's thanking you for being with her while you were alive. More importantly, she's saying goodbye.

It's possible that I'm reading too much into the dialogue, but my PSP got mysteriously blurry at that point. ;_;
[small]Also, she's really, really cute.[/small]

On a completely different track: Yuri Lowell from Tales of Vesperia.

So manly it makes me feel weird, and I don't care how gay that sounds.

You're picking Vanille over Fang or Lightning?

Actually, Merrill is on the edge of crazy. She is a blood mage who, early in the romance, could very well choose a demon over you. She does during a quest. Trust me, the danger and uncertainty was an attractive lure for me.

Well okay since it's inevitable let me bring up one of my number one video game crushes... Ashley Williams from Mass Effect:

What can I say? I like tough women. Plus, her referencing the word 'boomstick' certainly kept me interested. If nothing else, she felt like one of the most real characters in Mass Effect and remains proudly as my favorite romance option. Fact is, no other female character have I defended more often or with more valor then I do for Ashley, so she has to get some distinction.

As for my number two abnormal attraction, well she's from the same game series as Ashley:

Yes, Jack, also known as Subject Zero. It's funny really, after having so many people tell me that she's ugly I finally take a look at her face and well, she's absolutley gorgeous. Maybe I like her because I like tough angry women or maybe it's because she's a tragic figure who has suffered greatly. Either way, she makes number two on my 'romanceable' list in Mass Effect.

Next up is a fairly obvious answer considering I am a Halo fan:

Ah Cortana, long time fan favorite and for being a pioneer in the standard 'would ya?' disscussion. She's very attractive, has a great witty sense of humor but all of that doesn't distract from the fact that she's an AI construct.
A sexy construct yes, but a construct nonetheless.

And finally, also from the same game:

Seriously, I'd turn Xeno-gay for this guy.

Tali from Mass Effect and Rose from The Legend of Dragoon.

Seriously i'd probably kill myself if I had to choose between the two.

I'd have to second Freya from FF9 (apparently I'm not the only one).

I'd also put up Fairy Leviathan from the Megaman Zero series:

There are a couple actually:

Those are some awesome Dwarves. Normally I dislike Dwarves but those two are pretty great.
