Wilson from Mass Effect 2.

He made my skin crawl.

He was ugly.

Was a total dickhead.

His voice wasn't suited for that character.

I recently watched the Green Mile (fantastic film) and one thing that stuck with me was the character of Percy. I don't know if you've seen the movie or not (which, if you haven't, you totally should), but Percy was the most disgustingly sick and twisted character I've ever seen and while I was watching it, I genuinely hated him. I'm sure the actor is a nice person in real life and he's got skill to make me hate him like that.

So, Escapists. Have you ever actually hated a character? Not just simply found them annoying or mean, but seriously hated them?
Yeha percy was a basterd as much in the movie as the books (in fact green mile is one of the most acurate adaptations ive ever seen, I saw the movie then read the book and it captured every description), Im not sure if "Wild bill" was worse

Im going to say the Captin in Pans labrynth if you think percy was bad this guy was ten times worse, hes more of a monster than any fantasy creature

for an unintentional eample Ill say the na'vi from AVATAR, I dont actually hate them But I get so pissed off at how much the movies tries to show us they are soooooo superior to humans and humans are just basterds...oh and racism is bad and you shouldt destroy the environment...yes WE KNOW THIS james cameron!

I'll be the first person to say this, but Galadriel from the Lord of the Rings books.

Talia al Ghul & Catwoman are two of my least favorite DC characters.

Alyx Vance and Amata Almovodar.

Both talk way too much shit and seem bent on just irritating the shit out of me. Both think they're so awesome with their 'skills' and desire to do good. Self-righteous fuckers, the pair of them, and they're all tough and independent until they need ME to rescue them.

At least Amata I could liberally execute at my discretion.

I just went the through the posts so far and I am surprised at you people. There has been absolutely no Twilight bashing yet.

How the hell can we go through 3 to 4 pages of posts and not have anyone mention Edward, Bella, or Jacob.

Just because they are bland and have no personality doesn't mean you can't hate them for that same reason. So please, let the gay sparkling vampire bashing start now.

Percy was designed to be hated. Stephen King is famous for making characters like that.
I know he was, and they did a fine job making me hate him. The only other Stephen King character I hated this much was probably John Travolta's character from Carrie. When he wants you to hate a character, he really goes all out.

Vaan from Final Fantasy 12 and Trish from Devil May Cry, and Farah from Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Vaan because he's a useless twat you has nothing to do with the given plot in the game, his back-story can be summed up in two-sentences (His brother died and that made him sad. He wants to be a sky pirate.) and he doesn't even get more depth as the game goes on. Basch was supposed to be the main character of FF12, which would have made a hell of a lot more sense, and Vaan was switched in LITERALLY because the second director of the game (The first having come down with a serious illness at the time) decided that Basch wasn't pretty enough. This is also incidentally why the plot drops off the face of the earth at some points in that game. Screw you, Vaan. Panelo can stay, but you can go die in a hole. I'm also pissed at him all over again for being chose over Basch AGAIN in Dissidia: Duodecim. Go away kid, your bothering me!

Trish bugs me because she's asks for my help after stabbing me in the heart, electrocuting me, and throwing her frikkin motorcycle at me, THEN after Dante completely destorys the bike she's all "Wait I'm not here to hurt you" Coulda fooled me! Then when she gets to the island, she just jumps away and doesn't help, *****! Also she's by far one of the dumbest chracter reveals in Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Kinda funny how Vaan and Trish are both wastes of space in a massive crossover fighting game...

As for Farah, she just has really stupid A.I and was a really annoying character, she shot me in the back causing me to die once she said "Oops" in a joking tone as I died, I din't have sane either at the time. She also one time jumped FROM a high area to attack the enemies I was fighting with her bow, at CLOSE RANGE. Farah, sweetie...YOU HAVE A BOW, STAYING ON HIGH GROUND OUT OF ENEMY REACH IS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE!

Those are actually the only 3 video game characters I out and out HATE...oh wait, also Big the Cat from Sonic, Because y'know nothing says fast action Sonic the Hedgehog action like poorly programmed slow ass fishing mini-games.

Not a character pe se, but rather a creature: Whitney's Miltank!

It's the first annoying thing you'll find in G/S, even more so than Bugsy's Scyther who spams X-cutter (or whatever the move was called) and thats really saying somthing.

Sure, the Scyther loses it's attack in HG/SS, but Miltank retrains it's viciousness, it has Rollout, Body Slam, Attract and Milk Drink. since this is a remake, it also has Abilities, in this case Miltank has Scrappy meaning that it can also hit GHOSTS with Body Slam.

Even with the Machop you trade for in the Goldenrod store for an Abra/Drozee, it's attacks are super effective but Miltank's sheer defences make them slight tickles.

Get Miltank to a sliver of its final HP and Whitney uses a Full Restore on it, other cases she Body Slams you, Attracts and Rollouts you and if you manage to whittle her down to minimal HP again and made her use up her heals, she can always get the Miltank to drink it's Milk to heal a sizable chunk of hp, ready to slaughter again. D:

A Non-Pokemon example? maybe Stella from Dragon Quest IX, shes an obnoxous know it all who practically berates everything and everyone around her, whilst remaining prissy about it, all of her Flap bombs are obviously F-Bombs, if you imagined all of them as F-Bombs, the situation can either vary from "Hillarious: she is thinking/saying what we're thinking" to "Ughhh, this sounds like some immature Text hack that makes people swear and look like Penises" (Penii?)

Padme Amidala from the Star Wars prequels. I love Natalie Portman as an actress, I really do. But my GOD I hate this character. Every time she spoke I just wanted to rip my own ears off. Just something about her really pissed me off.

I would say Anakin from those same films, but I can give adult Anakin a pass just because he's hot, so...yeah. Child Anakin from Phantom Menace I hated though.

To be fair, he succeeds in making me hate his characters even when he's not trying to. The only characters of his I liked are Edna Turnblad from 'Hairspray' and Caster Troy from 'Face/Off'

On this note, an addition to my hated characters: Danny from Grease. If it was ANY other actor, I would probably like the guy, but John Travolta makes me hate everything this character does. Oddly, I still love the songs though...maybe that's just cause I'm a musical fan.
