In Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, I hated killing all my Dark Brotherhood friends during the purification. Even worse when I found out it was all for nothing. Fortunately, I got a mod that lets me warn them beforehand so they can hide and come back later. Can't wait till I get back to that point again.

It's not like he was a really cool character or anything, but in God of War II, I felt AWFUL about having to kill that defenseless old man who you needed to read the books for you. He didn't do a damn thing to deserve being brutalized by Kratos, and even worse was how the game made you do Quicktime events to repeatedly inflict bloody head trauma on the poor guy.

AH! I've got one now! Hitman blood money and Hitman 2, I always felt bad if i had to kill cops, after all, they do not know who they're dealing with. They're in WAY over their heads, and simply don't stand a chance. Sometimes i'm even on their side but explaining that is simply not a possibility.

Then you get those "innocent" people, particularly in hitman 2, but then some of them will have guns and at that point they're not all that innocent, are they? But most of them didn't need to die, they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. After all, i can't really let them live after they've seen me.
Hitman always found a way to make the targets seem like complete pieces of shit, like that US Ambassador they casually dropped innuendo that he molested little boys. Yeah, they went there.

I played Hitman Blood Money for the "Accidental Death" only mode, impossible on some levels but I made very good use of the good old balcony shove. Yeah, apparently they just fell to their death, that's the way one could spin it at least.
Oh i never worried about the people i had been sent to kill. I think the mission you're talking about is the porn house in the mountains? You need to kill a guy and his son and steal a video.

I did that one with only being seen once, knocking out only one guard, pushed the old guy off the balcony, and shot out the bottom of the glass hot tub dropping his son and a bunch of porn stars to their deaths.

I was let down when i finished though, the newspaper still said that they thought it was a professional hit and they somehow found the bullet casing that i had fired from the side of a cliff. But i GUESS they could have been tipped off by that bullet hole in the security camera.

I hate murdering the hookers in GTA but how else are you supposed to get a refund? I need that money for groceries.

theres a level where your apartment is being raided, and an old lady shoots someone with a shotgun. i had ran out of almost all my ammo from trying to get the sniper in the first 5 mins so i shot her down, took her shotgun and went on my way. kinda felt bad about having to do that.

Also in elder scrolls 4 oblivion, near the end of the dark brotherhood questline with the rigged dead drops. when you go about killing off the members of the black hand. i know they are all murderers themselves, but sneaking into there homes and slitting there throats on false premises doesn't make me feel very good.

Glados... She was cool

And that Ronin guy from Saints Row 2

The one Gat buries alive, yeah he was a dick but burial? Not cool man...
You mean Shogo Akuji?
The man who ordered the death of Aisha, Gat's girlfriend/wife. The man who then crashed Aisha's funeral in an attempt to kill the leaders of the Saints (Gat and Boss) and ignored Gat's warning to leave?
I think Shogo got just what he deserved.

Lucy
Totally. Plus the whole damn sequence was reminiscent of a certain scene from Final Fantasy VII...
Really? I think she deserved it. Especially since
She's really a Templar working undercover to make Desmond co-operate.
Although this Isn't fully confirmed, in the emails you read throughout the game you read about a white van that comes by all the time and sometimes lucy goes missing for a bit. As well as the Gods saying "she isn't who you think she is".

OT: Spiderman: Web of Shadows. Killing wolverine just wasnt right.......

I felt really really bad about killing Dwayne in GTAIV. I thought going with Playboy x was going to yield more cool missions, but he just up and left afterward. Next playthrough he fucking got it tho.
Yeah Dwayne was a true friend.

*Spoiler* "So witchers can parry volts in flight" The professor, I can't say I liked him that much, but I felt sorry when he said that.

Also, how can I hide the spoiler?

Can't remember but there was a game in which I just froze up, forced the PC to shutdown and went to sleep. Thatt must mean that it worked - I can't remember.

That one girl from Fable 1 who you knew from the guild... I REALLY needed the money, though.
You mean the brown one? I nuked her down with tremendous glee. The only time I have felt that way toward a supposed or possible ally, someone with whom I was supposed to emotionally relate to or ... whatever she was supposed to be. If remembering her just for her colour means I am racist, ok.

Sir Walter Beck

The Dark Brotherhood, but I appear to have been ninja'd on that one

Pretty much everyone who I ended up having to kill for "getting in my way", Kratos is such a dick

Most of the boss battles were previously met townsfolk who were corrupted by the dark presence

Edit: Though not really "killing" the character per say...

Rose in the perfect world sequence, her scream as she vaporised into nothing was so haunting it gave goosebumps

...ok, maybe "Resnov actually died 6 years ago" is an even lower point
I actually thought that was a clever twist, and that Treyarch did a decent job in migrating away from the standard CoD protagonist by making the main character insane.

I kind of wish people in video games would stop following me. It never ends well for them, whether it's Halo or Fallout.

In fact, there was a great moment in Halo 2 when I had two Marines following me for a really long time, and you could tell they were either married or were siblings (like Luke and Leia). Unfortunately, they both fell into the less-than loving embrace of a Hunter pair, and I spent the better part of a half-hour trying to rewrite destiny. As it turns out, there was a team of Jackal Snipers lying in wait to rewrite it back. Damn those Covenant.

There are many, but Capitan Vincente De Santa from Red Dead Redemption is the most recent. Even though the Mexican army turns on you and he betrays you, I just wanted to let him go and tell him to never come back.

[I mean how can the game ask you to gun down thousands of Russian troops and accept that, then expect you to be dismayed over US troops being killed by Russians... then kill US troops to kill a US General on some spurious allegations. WHAAAAA!!!
I agree with everything else you've said, but it was hardly 'spurious allegations', you saw Shepherd shoot Ghost and burn your character alive. If nothing else was made clear, the fact that Shepherd is the bad guy certainly was.
