A great toil? ;)

Um... They should have killed all hopes of skynet returning for a third Terminator mov... Oh wait. They did and they made a sequel anyway.

They should just kill Lora Croft off so we won't see another one of those movies.

I mean Alister. I wish he had kicked the bucket.
At least Alistair had less trust issues haha. Bear in mind he had an inferiority complex instead, but whatever.

SHODAN. For Christ's sake woman (machine/A.I./whatever) die already, I've killed you twice.

*watches last cutscene of System Shock 2*

Oh you *****.

Also, Lee Adama in the new Battlestar Galactica, am I the only one who noticed that for most of the series he was either incompetent or just whiny?

"Oh no I have so many attractive women coming after me, what will I do. My dad is way cooler then me so I'm going to be angsty about it. I'm going to pilot the Pegaseus into the middle of a Cylon battle group and let it blow up even though it's the only way we can construct Vipers. I am a frakking badass."

Sam Fisher's daughter "Whats-Her-Face." The "It was all a conspiracy" way of explaining deaths has been done and overdone.

I'm sorry, but the title is really horrible:
Characters that should have died.
OT: Everyone from Gears of War.

Nines. No way he survived that werewolf attack.
Whats this from? I know I know the name Nines.
Nines Rodriguez is the leader of the Anarchs, one of the three factions vying for control of the LA area in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

.
Ive never played the game. I might pick it up eventually.

Damn, now thats going to annoy me
I bought the game when it came out (2004) and just played it two weeks ago (for the first time ever). I'd say it is most similar to Deus Ex. In fact, it was basically the game I wanted Deus Ex: Invisible War to be. It's a solid (if a bit buggy and janky in places) game that often offers many different solutions to a problem depending upon clan choices and how you parcel out your experience. I played as a Tremere so I mostly resolved problems with blood magic and bullets as they seemed to mesh well.

It looks like it is available on Steam for 20 bucks which I'd say is a fair price all told. The game took me about 20 hours to beat and I could see playing it at least one more time to try a different build.

Make certain you use WESP5's patch.

Tried it as part of a bundle of patches and mods. I didn't really care for the result and just went with the true patch instead. Apparently, flame war must now ensue between us according to the internet.

Paris from Troy he was just a pretty boy *****.
In fairness that is quite an accurate interpretation of the character in the Iliad itself.

OT: Neo. As in at the end of the first movie.

Rico should have died instead of Razek in the Starship Troopers CG cartoon. The older soldiers were just much more likeable/worth something than the young trio (Rico, Dizzy and Higgins......eh maybe not Higgins).
Yeah but Razack dying added to his badassery and the faithfulness of the book.

I think Warfield should have died at the end of Starcraft II. Giving Raynor the position of General maybe?

Revolver Ocelot. It would have been so much easier and so much more meaningful if he had died rather than shoved in Metal Gear Solid 1 & 2.

Alyx Vance.

Being brought to tears by fictional character deaths makes me feel strangely satisfied.
Eli was a start, but killing off the main supporting character whom the player spends half of the series makes for the saddest death scenes.

Caim in Drakengard. That crazy fuck should have died.
He does in Ending E.
[sub]And fun fact: that ending leads to NieR. I find that really neat.[/sub]
