Xbox 360 is great and all, but do you, perchance, have a Playstation 2?
Indeed i do good sir, a slimline to be precise :D
Ah, excellent. I couldn't really think of any games on 360 that were fun, yet could be found for cheap, but there are plenty of PS2 games that are cheap and fun, plus the PS2 has a very robust library overall, so good. So what will I recommend... hmmm... yes, of course, all three Timesplitters games, on PS2. Rather cheap, very, very fun.

Resonance of Fate has recently surprised me with how good it is. Quite cheap on Amazon, unique and interesting battle system, although admittedly a bit unforgiving in the beginning, it is what FF13 wishes it could've been.

If you're not into JRPGs, but are into Multiplayer shooters, give Gotham City Imposters a go, it's a surprisingly well balanced and fun experience that's available of Arcade.

And as per prior suggestion, The Walking Dead XBLA is a good game if you haven't already played it.

de Blob 2 was released across all platforms (the first was a Wii exclusive). You have never played a game like this, and now the studio behind it has closed, there probably won't be anything like it again. You owe it to yourself to check it out. Essentially, the whole world is grayscale, and you cover yourself in paint and throw yourself at the scenery to re-colour it. Brilliant.

This was my first thought when I saw the topic title...
OT: If you haven't had the chance to try out CS:GO yet, it's actually not so bad.
